Un piso de vacaciones de la década de 1940, recientemente restaurado, a una cuadra de The 3 Sisters, Echo Point y Prince Henry Cliff Walk.

Cuenta con pisos de madera pulida, una cocina y un baño restaurados y detalles y muebles modernos de mediados del siglo XX. El sol llena el espacio durante el día y una hermosa chimenea abierta "Eco Smart" lo mantiene acogedor por la noche.

Instalaciones / Entretenimiento

El apartamento tiene dos dormitorios, uno con cama de matrimonio y otro con cama de matrimonio. También hay una cama individual plegable que se puede colocar en cualquiera de las habitaciones. Todas las camas tienen nuevos colchones de alta calidad y ropa de cama.

Para los cocineros de fin de semana la cocina está bien equipada.

Esta es nuestra casa de vacaciones, no vivimos en el área y, por lo tanto, no proporcionamos productos perecederos como leche y mantequilla.

Hay dos televisores de pantalla plana, (salón y segundo dormitorio), reproductores de DVD, video y CD, giradiscos y base para iPod, así como una amplia selección de juegos, libros, música y películas.

Otros: secador de pelo, plancha, lavadora, secadora, calefactores en todas las habitaciones, ropa de cama y toallas, café y té.

No se permiten mascotas o fumar dentro del apartamento.

Mold is an ongoing challenge in the humid Blue Mts climate, so please leave blinds open during the day and when you leave. Mold hates light.
The plumbing is sensitive. Do not put cooking oil down the sink or anything other than toilet paper in the toilet.
Garbage night is Tuesday. If you are staying/checking out on Tuesday leave both bins (near back door) on the street in front of the letter boxes.

We loved our stay here, great location, central but quiet and an easy walk to the Three Sisters. The house is very comfortable with the open fire and electric blankets being very warm.

The property lives up to its title of "Restored 1940's Holiday Flat". It was super cosy and the heater surprisingly warm despite the heavy cloud and low temperatures outside. Just perfect.

It was a cold rainy weekend in Katoomba but our accommodation was dry and toasty warm. After a trip to Megalong Books in Leura and Glee Books in Blackheath we were set to read and drink tea by the fire in the living room. We had a great weekend and much needed unwind.

Cool Retro Unit, Blue Mountains

Cool Authentic Retro Unit for fun short stay in Katoomba. Funny to see the technology driven teenage kid’s reaction to the 50s decor of this great unit. Location was short walk to 3 Sisters info centre and walking/hiking trails. Located just the right distance from the hustle of the Katoomba town centre. Self sufficient accommodation with all the necessary amenities, good wifi.

Warm comfortable space for a lovely getaway

Hi, Spent two nights with my paramour in this wonderful space. Even though it was cold and miserable outside the fireplace kept the home warm and the heaters in the bedroom took the edge off. The only small issue was the amount of hot water,. Even economic use sees it deplete far too quickly.... Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away. .

Lovely cottage in the mountains

We stayed for two nights whilst taking in the scenery of Katoomba. The cottage is a step back in time and tastefully styled. All the basic comforts you would expect are provided and the location is perfect for accessing walking tracks without having to drive. We recommend this property, it was lovely.

Wonderful Experience

This is a lovely property a stone's throw away from Three Sisters. A well appointed apartment in which we were very comfortable. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Tracey, the owner, went out of her way to meet our needs, including posting some things that we left behind back to us.

Funky flat and lovely stay!

Clean property in a great location close to the 3 sisters. Parking in front of garage was a bit weird with other cards around/close but aside from that everything was wonderful and easy. Thank you!

Perfect for a girls weekend

Such a lovely little cottage! Very clean and has everything you could need for a weekend. The fire and heaters made for a cosy house as well. Also a lot of great walks nearby. Tracey was very helpful throughout the whole booking process as well!

Wonderful and relaxing!

We loved our stay here. It was so close to everything and the feeling of the cottage is relaxing and warm. Everything is there to make your stay comfortable including games, puzzles and DVDs which our two girls enjoyed. It is clean, beautifully renovated with awesome detail in furniture and lighting. Loved the light filled rooms and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend to everybody!

Charming, sun-filled,cosy and quiet.

We really enjoyed staying in the thoughtfully restored apartment. The street is quiet, and the rooms get sun most of the day. It was still much appreciated having so many heating options, we felt cosy at all times. We would love to return.

We enjoyed our stay at the house The house is well equipped with everything you need like linen, towels, pots and pans It was very clean and the location was great Just 5 minutes from the 3 sisters Parking is available at the back of the house And it has 2 blueray/dvd players with a library of hundred of movies which was nice entertainment for the kids Tracey was great giving ua all the info we needed before our stay

Great lil house

We really enjoyed our stay at this Restored 50's flat. We stayed here with our 2 girls- 2 and 4 years and found it to be a very comfy little sunny home. We could warm up the place easily although may need to be careful with young kids if using the fire which we did need on at night to warm up the place. It is so close to the three sisters!

Very Enjoyable

I stayed here with my husband and three year old over the Easter weekend. We just loved this holiday rental. Although it is listed as an apartment it really feels like a small house as it has its own private garden and we didn't really notice the neighbours. It has been beautifully renovated and filled with stylish designer furniture from the 1950s and 60s. It was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed. There is a fully equipped kitchen and the beds are really comfortable. The turntable and record collection was lots of fun and the eco fireplace created a lovely atmosphere. It is also in a great location, a few minutes walk from Echo Point and various bushwalks. There is also a nice bar at the end of the street for those not inclined to be outdoors.

Comfortable and we'll equipped

Really nice little getaway in a secluded spot. Decor is as advertised and for a few minutes the sensory overload and feeling you've just stepped into your aging mothers house that hasn't seen a new piece of furniture for 50 years can be a bit overwhelming but it quickly subsides and it's all just cosy and comfortable with everything you need for a weekend away or a week hiking the trails. We'll done guys!

We live and work in Sydney but Katoomba is our home away from home. We won't be able to meet you in person but we can be easily reached by telephone.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This flat is one of six. They were built in the year 1950 as purpose built holiday flats. We purchased three of them (right side of drive way) in 2003 as a restoration project. We loved the fact that under the bad carpets and linoleum the original floors were there to restore. The bathrooms and kitchens were also original. Importantly the building has a north aspect which ensures greater warmth. We love that you can do stunning bush walks without driving anywhere first.
