Wonderful location. Clean and comfortable.
Great house for a peaceful and fun vacation!
We had a fantastic vacation staying in this house in Serene Lakes. The house is well equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable, the dining and living areas were great for 6-8 adults, and the location is quiet, backing up to the forest. The garage has plenty of room for bikes and anything else you make bring along. The area is beautiful and the house is a short distance from Serene Lakes, where we were able to swim and paddle board. All in all, this house was a great choice for us!
Great value and lovely location
Cabin was great for our family of 6 with a very nice sitting area / kitchen / dining nook. Right by the trails of soda springs and so good for hiking and biking. Short drive or cycle to the lake. Garage very useful and kitchen well equipped. Would happily stay again.
Cozy and Comfortable
We just returned from a 3 night stay at this Serene Lakes cabin. If you want to ski at either Sugar Bowl or Boreal Ridge, it is an excellent place to stay. The cabin is very comfortable, but not at all luxurious. We were a party of 8. There are two bedrooms on the main floor - one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds. There is a large king bed on the upper floor and a loft with a small double futon bed. There is a bathroom on each floor. However, the upstairs bathroom has a tub with a spray handle - not great, if you want to take a shower since there are no shower curtains or doors. All 5 adults ended up taking showers in the downstairs bathroom. The kitchen/living room/dining area is small, but functional. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment you may want to use, including a crock pot. The living room has a wood burning stove. This is the main source of heat, so good to have someone who likes building fires in your group. Be prepared to bring all the food you expect to eat, as there are no grocery stores nearby. There is a convenience store close by for things like milk and beer. The owner, Julie, is very pleasant to deal with.
Very nice cabin!
Julie was very nice and answered all my questions I had before the upcoming days of our trip. We had a great time!!!! 1 of the good things was that we didn't have to go anywhere to play in snow even though there wasn't much but still had a good hill of snow for the kids to sled down!
The cabin backs onto beautiful woods view. Julie was communicative and flexible. Wonderful weeken!
Dog friendly, plenty of firewood, lots of sleeping options. Kitchen mostly great but could use a ladle and a few more dinner plates.
