Midtown Detached Studio Cottage-Heated Pool & Hot Tub-Covered-Gated Parking

King Bed. Full Kitchen. Exquisite resort-style bathroom. Private and separate entrance from the alley with a gated and covered parking spot.

Woodlea Historic Neighborhood is lush and green. Our home is on a large lot in this welcoming and diverse neighborhood. We have this detached building in the back that we renovated in 2016. This studio suite style cottage has a kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, large sink, 2 burner cooktop, and microwave/convection oven combo unit. An exquisite modern, resort-style bathroom. Walk in closet. Washer/Dryer. 50 inch Roku Smart TV. DVD player (with many DVD movies available in the cottage). Reading library too!

*Heated Pool & Hot tub - Completed in April 2022. This luxurious resort style pool came out of our dreams. Hot tub heating is included. Pool heating is optional and available with a surcharge since not all guests want the pool heated and cover the cost of gas. If you want the pool to be comfortable for swimming during your stay we recommend pool heating at these times and the rate we charge will be the following prices multiplied by the number of nights of your reservation (we discount for stays of a week or longer):

For example, a 5 night stay in March would be $250 for pool heating.

A solar cover is used to help heat and retain heat in the pool. During your stay we ask guests to return the cover into place when not using the pool and particularly overnight. This allows us to charge reasonable heating prices and keep down our gas usage. Also the heater will not be able to maintain a comfortable swimming temperature if the cover is not used in this manner.

The backyard, including pool is shared with us (the homeowners). We are quiet and will only occasionally have guests over. If we do we will let you know. We do not allow our guests to have other guests visit during your stay. No parties. Quiet hours (no audible noise outside) are 8 PM - 8 AM. Pool & Hot Tub hours are 8 AM - 10 PM. Strictly enforced.

The lot backs to a vehicle accessible alley. You will have your own private back entrance through an electronic gate giving your own private, covered, and secured parking spot.

Midtown is a great place to stay to get around and explore all that Phoenix has to offer. We are close to downtown entertainment and sporting venues. Many great restaurants with diverse culinary choices. Are you a road warrior and want an alternative to a hotel? The secret about Midtown is that the daily commute is a reverse commute in pretty much every direction.

Guests with children under 16 cannot be accommodated for safety reasons.
