Local History...

Located forty minutes south of Perth, Rockingham is a holiday resort city of some 142,000 residents. In 1827 Captain James Stirling landed on Garden Island just off the coast, and two years later the Swan River Colony was founded. Nowadays, Garden Island is home to HMAS Stirling Naval Base, Australia's largest fleet base. In the early days, Rockingham was a busy port for the timber industry, shipping jarrah and sandlewood overseas. Rockingham is a popular tourist destination with beautiful expanses of safe beaches, water sports, and environmental parks.

The cafe strip has an abundance of fine eateries where one can wine and dine al fresco style while watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean. Family gathering

This was in a wonderful location close to shops and foreshore. The children enjoyed having a daily swim. Everything we could wish for was provided. Thanks again for you help. We all enjoyed our stay.

Home Away From Home

My husband, a friend of mine and I spent 8 days at Seaview Garden Apartment unit 11 in October. I was really surprised to see how clean the apartment was being kept. It was so delightful to find a place exceeding my expectation. The apartment is so spacious and so clean. It is situated very close to the beach, cafés and eating places. I don't hesitate to recommend this apartment to my friends. I will definitely come back and use the same apartment for my next stay in Rockingham.

Comfortable apartment in a great location.

Clean, comfortable apartment in a quiet location close to all that Rockingham has to offer. Nice to have a range of basic provisions provided. Only a short stroll to the lovely Rockingham Beach foreshores with its parks, picnic areas, cafes and restaurants. Owner very obliging.

Fantastic Property!

We had a wonderful time at Seaview Gardens! My husband and I were very impressed with the unit and in our dealings with the proprietor prior to our stay. We have two young boys, so we really appreciated having the bath, washing machine and dryer. Children get grubby! We had everything we needed and the unit was refurbished and well maintained. It was also in a great spot, close to the beach, foreshore, restaurants and playgrounds for the kids. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodation in Rockingham.

I was born and raised in Torquay, Devon, England where my parents ran a B&B during the summer season, so hospitality is no stranger to me. Managing my own holiday rental apartment has taken me back to my roots. I thoroughly enjoy the interaction with guests, and being able to showcase Rockingham and all its wonderful amenities in the area is a privilege.
