And for you gamblers, Central City and Blawk Hawk sport more than 20 casinos. Red Rocks natural amphitheater is located just 45 min away. Our home has radiant heat, washer, dryer, gas fireplace. Large Master has deck, California King Bed & whirlpool tub, 2nd BR has Queen Bed and deck, 3rd BR has bunks with full size bed on bottom & extra twin bed. New walk to hot tubs are located in complex. High end furnishings, high speed internet & expanded cable channels. Plenty of space for large families complete with game closet.

Very nice place

Tainted by invisible dog

During our stay I was texted by the owner and told to call her. On the call I was told "There is a situation, we have detected a dog in the house". I explained we did not have any dogs and there is no way one could have been "detected ". She stated she is sending someone over to inspect without permission. A violation of VRBO policy. We have yet to recieve an apology or any further correspondence from the owner.

Dillon townhouse

There was a lot of road noise from the busy road behind the house (windows open in summer for fresh air). The handle to the front door fell off the first day & that made it hard to enter/exit the unit as we only had a key to the front door. (There was no garage door remote control we could find). It was nice to have several water bottles awaiting our arrival cold in the fridge. I had trouble finding an extra pillowcase to use with an extra pillow. Things were kind of found all over the place (in various closets). I went to do a load of laundry and found old linens placed in the washer that were never washed. We absolutely love the location of these townhouses in Dillon but would probably choose a different unit next time.

Growing up in upstate New York, we always loved the snow. We have three children that have learned to ski in Summit County and still love to ski. After moving to the south, we really missed the snow and winter sports. That's why we chose Summit County for our second home. We've traveled here from Denver, NC for the past 20 years. We both have worked in the food and travel industry for over 30 yrs. Wec urrently own the only "travel cafe" in the US. We sell food & travel(www.Sweetdscafe.com)

Why they chose this property

This is not your typical rental property. The furnishings and decor have our own personal touch and have been meticuosly cared for. We have all new appliances and carpeting. Since we no longer have the amount of time to spend in Colorado we decided we wanted to share our home with others. This is the first time opening our home to renters. All four seasons here are beautiful and provide many activities.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location! We love having all the area has to offer and so much of it within walking distance. The views from the two decks are just magnificent. The bedrooms are all located on the lower level which allows quiet time for those who prefer early to bed or the late risers. The neighborhood is quiet. No need to have a car you can walk or take the free Summit Stage transportation system to all the resorts & towns in Summit County.
