Located on one of the most gorgeous stretches of coastlines, this large beach house is perfect for your next family holiday!

Sit on the verandah with BBQ on with a glass of your poison and watch the children play. Ideal family or weekend getaway for the young couples wanting a romantic weekend.

Potbelly stove for winter warmth, wood supplied. Relax in front of the fireplace with a glass of red during the winter.

Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. $250 per night plus $50 for cleaning per stay. Winter mid week special price 4 nights for the cost 3.

Relaxing beach front holiday

The shack is a shack. Very comfortable, spacious, tidy and well equipped. We had a very relaxing stay. Caught lots of crabs too. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at a Black Point shack.

An awesome stay at the Black Point shack. A rustic shack with most things you need. Perfect pet friendly place that had a great voew and loads to do. Crabbing, fishing, fires and long walks along the beach made for a great holiday. The place isnt perfe t but that is why we loe heading here.

Great shack awesome location.

Michael's shack is extremely comfortable and spacious and in a great location. Beach views are amazing. It had all the necessary inclusions to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The front porch area is large and very shady including lots of trees and shrubbery which is not that common for many shacks along the point. Yes it is rustic as it is one of the original shacks, but clean and comfortable. Michael is also very responsive with any questions. Thank you for sharing your place.

Weekend Away

We stayed two nights in winter and really enjoyed ourselves. Loved the outside fire pit and indoor fire. Lovely position to walk along the beach and switch off. Kitchen & laundry well equipped.

Great family holiday

A great location to spend beach time with our children and grandchildren. The homely and comfortable shack had everything we needed. Grandchildren loved racking for crabs and playing in the sand. Michael was a great host and quickly attended to any questions we had. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Perfect spot to relax

Perfect spot to relax, unwind, and get some sand between the toes. It had all we needed, was neat, tidy, beds comfy and very clean for a beachside shack. Met all our expectations! Our dogs loved it too and being on the older side, it didn't take much to wear them out! We would definitely stay again. Thank you, Michael, for sharing this fabulous place.

Great beachy vibe

We had a short stay 2 night stay at # 21. It was lovely, one of the original shacks at Black Point. The views are beautiful and direct beach access is great. This would be awesome in Summer. Beds are comfy, kitchen well stocked with crockery/ cutlery and plenty of hot water for showers. It is an older shack and that is what gives it an authentic shack vibe.

Perfect location - needs cleaning

Perfect location with stunning views. It’s not high end/modern – it’s a shack, as we knew when booking. However, the cleanliness was disappointing, given the costs include a cleaning fee. Fortunately, there was bleach onsite, so we spent 2hrs removing mould from both shower floors/walls. We’re ok with a bit of dirt/sand but this was unhealthy and embarrassing, as another couple were joining us. For us, the facilities were manageable, but not ideal. A shower screen door was off its tracks and wouldn’t open/close. We had to fix the bent tracks. The BBQ was very dirty but we’d brought a webberQ. The bin was broken, so the lid required manual handling – ok once we removed the hardened food from the lid. There’s a filthy lounge room rug, mentioned in a previous review, looking like it was last cleaned years ago. Our host Michael was responsive/helpful during booking. Upon arrival, we alerted him to the issues and he apologised, suggesting the cleaner must not have been. There was a pool of cleaning fluid in one shower so the cleaning service value is questionable. I provided photos of the mould and informed Michael of the shower door issue but received no further response. The nightly fee is reasonable for a shack in this location, needing a fair amount of fixing-up, but no property should be let in such an unclean state. Despite the condition of the property, with great company and the stunning views, once we’d put in the cleaning effort, we had quite an enjoyable stay.
