We (3 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa da Figueria. We stayed 3 nights and wish we had booked longer. The house is spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. The large grounds are beautiful - heated pool, fountain, multiple dining areas and a walking path to enjoy the elaborate landscaping. It was a short walk to the beach and the excellent neighborhood restaurants. The host was very communicative and helpful. We would love to return in the future.

Thanks John, the location is excellent indeed, just a 2 min walk from the beach and a few more min from the town that has several nice restaurants. In addition the walking trail starts right behind the Parque da Praia ("park of the beach") in which Casa da Figueira is located. Hope you and your family will vacation at Casa da Figueira again.

Perfect location and wonderful accomodations

Had a relaxing, fabulous time on our vacation. The pool is wonderful after a day of hiking and exploring; Amelia, the housekeeper, is terrific; and the town has all the amenities for a great stay in the Algarve.

relaxing villa vacation

We had a great time staying at this adorable villa in praia da Luz. Very quick walk to the beach, but we also very much enjoyed the private pool. This house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Luz and this villa a perfect combo!

Really nice spacious villa with lots of outdoor relaxing space. Loved being able to walk to the beach and the lovely town of Luz. Highly recommend.

lovely winter hide-out

We come here every year and enjoy it every time again! We like it even more in winter than in summer, when everything is much calmer and yet the sun is there to enjoy...

Thanks! Casa da Figueira's location in the quiet Parque da Praia is indeed perfect. It is a quiet area on the East side of the beach that was developed back in the 1960s. It is only a 2 min walk to the beach and a 5 min walk to great restaurants on the beach promenade as well as a very nice cliff hike to Lagos. Hope you can come again!

Fabulous vacation rental

Absolutely gorgeous, authentic garden beach home. All amenities as advertised. We had a wonderfully relaxing experience steps from the beach, cliff-side hiking/running trails, and the picture perfect town of Luz. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and I dare say Casa da Figueira was our favorite.

Fantastic in every way!

The property is remarkable- perfect location, beautifully maintained gardens, and an amazingly helpful housekeeper. We went over Thanksgiving week and the town of Luz (5 minute walk from house) was ideal - many open restaurants but no crowds. Everyone in our family wants to return.

Another perfect week at Casa Figuera

Our fourth family trip to this perfect holiday oasis. It’s beautiful, near the beach and all amenities. Amelia is simply the best housekeeper, discreet and so helpful if needed and the Casa is kept in perfect order. It’s very rare you will find something so special you keep returning, but, for us, this is the place.

Beautiful villa

This is an excellently located and well appointed villa. The housekeeper is truly delightful, very helpful and discreet. The owners were swiftly and positively reactive when I approached them with a couple of questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa da Figeuira.

A vacation from our vacation!

What a beautiful stay! The villa was very large with lots of outdoor seating options. Pool was great, heated just enough to take the chill off. A short walk to the beach and restaurants. Very well-equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ. Beautiful gardens. We highly recommend!

Perfectly located villa with extensive gardens

Just returned from what can only be described as a perfect 8 night holiday. The traditional villa is spacious, perfectly located and equipped with everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday. Paradise!

This is an amazing property. The kind you are truly sad to leave. We enjoyed the pool and grounds, and the proximity to great restaurants and the beach. Communication before and during the stay was excellent. Helpful guides and instructions inside the house made our stay effortless.

Incredible house with amazing gardens

Sophie's house is a really wonderful oasis and perfect for a relaxing break. Its traditional design is charming with lots of alcoves and quiet corners to relax in. The real attraction is the huge garden that's great to explore and the lovely pool. The house is minutes away from the beach, shops and restaurants. And is a perfect location to explore the Western Algarve.

Beautiful home in a wonderful beach side town.

Our stay was short but very nice. Our beds were all very comfortable and we really appreciate this. Amelia took very good care of us! The village and beach where a 4 minute walk away from our house. There are many little restaurants in this are of Luz which are all well rated. We didn't want to leave this wonderful spot.

Wonderful villa in a great location

We had a wonderful holiday here, the villa is spacious, beautiful gardens, great pool and spotlessly clean, thanks to Amelia. The villa is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. We recieved great instructions before our visit, access was easy and Amelia helped us with any queries during our stay. Cleaning each week day was thorough but discreet. Would definitely recommend staying here.
