The property is spacious, nice and clean. Communication with the host was clear and concise. The entire family enjoyed the house. The downside of the property is it”s located next to the garbage disposal area so there was a lot of noise during the day. For us the price offset the inconvenience of the noise.

Thank you for choosing Wonder Vacation Homes, it was a pleasure hosting you and your family and we cannot wait to welcome you back. We are sorry that the outside of the home was a bit noisy, we will let the HOA know so they can be a little mindful!

This house was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. We would stay here again. The communication was perfect. I would suggest more items in the kitchen and some cleaning products. We had to buy a griddle to cook breakfast.

The horse was beautiful and clean. We did add the heated pool and hot tub which actually kept the pool more hot than the hot tub which was disappointing but the kids didn’t care and still enjoyed themselves. House was stocked with basic necessities for our stay kitchen/bath etc. Our family of 18 stayed comfortably with plenty of space and entertainment for all ages.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear you found the home beautiful, clean, and spacious enough for your large family, and that everyone had room to relax and enjoy the entertainment options. We’re also happy to know the kids had a great time in the pool despite the temperature concern. That said, we’re sorry to hear the hot tub didn’t perform as expected during your stay. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us follow up and ensure everything is working properly for future guests. It’s great to hear the home was well stocked for your needs and that your group of 18 was comfortable throughout your stay. We truly appreciate you choosing us and hope to host your family again in the future! Wonder Vacation Homes

The house itself was very accommodating!! Loved the space for sure!However…..the trash service for the HOA was just right next to the property….we had several dumpsters and trucks of trash starting at 7:00 a.m. The noise of the trucks, the smells and view was disgusting and totally ruined the experience of the vacation!!!!

I am so sorry to hear despite having the beautiful home very accommodating and loving the space itself, you rated the home with just 4 stars due to the trash trucks sent by county making the noise - its the first time I heard a guest saying this. I am very sorry that this happened to you, however it is out of our control on how the dump trucks assigned by the county come around. We hope you have a better experience next time.

Great Family Vacation

When we arrived, we were in awe when we stepped into your property. It was very clean and inviting. The only issue we experienced was the extreme cold upstairs. However, the host was very responsive and made us feel comfortable. We look forward to staying at this location when we return again.

Overall nice house and good stay

Overall the pictures are a good representation of what you get. Although the upstairs couch needs to be replaced. We had a few questions upon arrival but management was responsive and everything was resolved by the next day.

Absolutely LOVED it and will book again!

Our company rented a vacation home as a "home base" for a nearby conference, and the house was perfectly outfitted for our group--plenty of beds, bathrooms (some shared, some private), a HUGE welcoming kitchen living and dining area, backyard seating, pool/hot tub, and easy access to nearby stores. It was clean, inviting and just as pictured. We will definitely be booking again next year, as we attend a local conference about 3 miles up the road annually.

Storey Lake vacation

Cleanliness of the property upon arrival was not good. Hot tub did not work for three days, not enough pots and pans for the large group, broken stove top, not enough blankets and pillows for the group. Response time less than ideal from wonder homes. Was a beautiful space and would potentially rent from again- hoping the next time would be better

Wakened everyday at 6am to the noise of the gardeners collecting their motorised lawnmowers opposite the villa, followed at 7am until early evening constant flow of skips full of smelly waste and some days up to 8were left overnight parked at side of patio area so with the Florida heat the smell was disgusting and it was impossible to sit out for any length of time. Then some days the crusher lorry would appear so noise level and smell was horrendous. When we booked this in January 2025 the Villa was advertised as being at end of quiet cul de sac, which would have minimal traffic and there was no mention of skips etc, oh how wrong we were. Outdoor seating cushions were badly stained/mouldy/damp and area around filter at pool on mono blocks has been badly repaired leaving uneven blocks with some missing and filled with small stones which is dangerous for small children. Our main complaint is that the patio door to pool didn’t lock, so we messaged Wonder vacation to get this rectified as we were there for 14 days and we are still waiting! We received AI reply telling us it’s ok it is a gated community, but unfortunately one of the gates at the entrance to said gated community has been damaged/removed so this was a concern as we had passports and other valuables left in villa and the safe in villa couldn’t be used as the battery mechanism was missing. I feel sorry for the owner as villa is spacious and well equipped but needs some attention (crockery/ decoration).

The house was beautiful very clean and accurate to the the photos. The pool/spa was very nice but unfortunately not unusable for most of the stay. I thought it was off because I didn't request pool heat. I reached out for info but got no response due to some sort of system error where none of my messages were being received via vrbo. The pool guy informed us monday it was dirty because the entire system was off and wasn't filtering for most of our stay. He fixed the problem and said we could use it later that day but our stay was basically over. The community clubhouse is 5 stars and definitely made up for the private pool issue. The system issue with vrbo made communication difficult as I was trying to adhere to using the booking platform for communication but I did get a response via sms. Overall we had a great stay!

Thank you for your detailed review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the home, its cleanliness, and the community clubhouse. Regarding the pool and spa, you are correct that the pool heater was off because it was not requested or paid for in your booking. We apologize for the inconvenience with the VRBO messaging system—it seems some messages didn’t come through, but we’re glad we were able to resolve the issue via SMS so the pool could be used later in your stay. We’re happy that overall you had a great time and appreciate your feedback. Best regards, Wonder Vacation Homes

Honestly it’s a nice house but getting something fixed was exhausting. The door to the pool wouldn’t lock so having kids there that was a bit nerve racking until they finally came to fix it the door several days after we got there. The hot tub was warm but not hot until the last day, they had a pool company clean the pool which was fine until they put a hose in it to fill and made it cold for two of the days we were there. I purchased a golf cart way before we got there, I kept getting the run around about it being delivered until day 4 when I finally just said give me my money back and really I wasn’t mad til they gave me everything but 54 saying it was non refundable amount, well they didn’t deliver it, kept me waiting for days saying it was coming then to not get delivered. I was done waiting for them to come it was a huge waste of my time then to tell me all of my money wouldn’t be returned yep never again. So add ons are a no way not ever again. My family all own several businesses, from internet companies to radio stations and we all know costumer service very well and vacation together several times a year and this has got to be the most frustrating stay we have ever had. Nice area perfect for a quick run to the store.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustrations you encountered during your stay, especially regarding the pool door, hot tub temperature, and the delays with maintenance. We understand how stressful that can be, particularly when traveling with family, and we apologize that this impacted your vacation. Regarding the golf cart add-on and the non-refundable amount: we want to clarify that this policy is clearly outlined in the agreement that is signed prior to booking. This non-refundable portion is held by the platform itself, not by us, and we do not have access to those funds to issue a refund. Despite this, we did make efforts to contact the platform’s customer service to request an exception on your behalf, but unfortunately, it was not approved. We do not retain this amount intentionally, and had the agreement been reviewed beforehand, this situation would have been much easier to understand. We appreciate your comments about the home and the location, and we’re sorry that the overall experience did not meet expectations. Your feedback has been noted and will help us improve moving forward. Sincerely, wonder vacation homes

I took a group of 7 Girl Scouts and 6 adults to this property. The girls had been saving up their cookie money for this trip for 5 years. We had a great time and memories were made. It was clouded heavily by the last day (see the end). The house was great to accommodate the size of our party. However there were several things that made this a place we will not stay again. The property managers were great and check in process was easy. The gate codes never worked on our phones despite the brightness being up. We just pushed the button and the gate opened or we went through the exit that was open. Not sure why it is a gated community. I paid for the pool heater. The pool felt great but it was warmer than the hot tub. I was looking forward to the hot tub. I was disappointed but the girls loved the pool so the heater was well worth it.The couch upstairs was broken. At least 2 of the beds were broken. The stove kept tripping a fuse and one of the front burners did not work. I let the manager know and they did have someone look at it. The “game room” was a foozball table in a bedroom. There was an air hockey table upstairs. We were looking forward to a game night, but we played phone games instead. The day we left we found bedbugs in 2 rooms, one on a girl. We had to heat treat or freeze all 7 families things on return. One had to purchase a deep freeze. They were mature bedbugs. Management is still reviewing our case 2 weeks later and hoping they make it right.

Non Existent Customer Service

I will start with the negative. I called Vrbo and reported this, nothing was done. I called, texted, and emailed Wonder Vacation Homes, nothing was done. Upon arrival we could not get in the gate. We waited with a long line of cars for over an hour. Tried to call Wonder Vacations emergency number, no answer. Tried to text on the guest profile, no answer. We had to park and carry our bags through the small opening by the side of the gate. Some cars waited to see if they could beat the gate closing when someone left. Crazy risk of getting vehicle damaged! Finally, the next day around 4pm, after at least 20 + phone calls and 10 texts ( wasted a good 2 hours of my family vacation) someone from Wonder Vacation finally responded and said it was a complaint I would need to take up with the property resort maintenance. Really?? I do not live there I rented the property from Wonder Vacations through Vrbo. Unbelievable! The gate was not fixed until our last day of the stay. Totally acceptable, again apparently this was a matter I needed to talk with the property manager about... since I am a resident.. REALLY!!! Also, asked for a pool heater, never got one. Never swam! So sad for the family and all the kids who were looking forward to it. I would never use Wonder Vacation Homes EVER again.

The overall stay was great. There are a few minor things we might make note of. The trash trucks are parked near the home which their activity tends to be what you wake up to. The WiFi was slow for the amount of devices that could be on. Minor things that didn’t damper our stay.

Great location.

The property was clean on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls and cups, but not much else. The property management was more difficult to communicate with than if the property was owned by a single person. Overall, we had a great week at a great house. Bring your own supplies.
