Property top of a mountain! Good thing we drove our truck. A quiet piece of paradise at the top! Enjoyed spending time outside grilling, camp fire, drinking morning coffee!
This cabin was just so cute and the communication with the owners was excellent. Everything you could need in the kitchen is there for you. They also had plenty of bedding and throw blankets for you. The hot tub was clean and temperature adjustable to our liking. I really like that they had porches on the east and west side. Also had a several books you could read. This cabin is high up and it is so quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful cabin with excellent views of the mountains. It was very private and peaceful. Very close to lots of hiking trails and river views. Loved it!
The host was great, checked in to make sure we arrived and contacted us when the wi-fi provider notified them the service was down. The property was great, and just as described in the listing.

Thank you for your nice review ! Welcome back anytime Dan & Sheyla
Very secluded private and quiet. Just exactly what we needed! Host is very gracious and communication was easy. The cabin is at the peak of the mountain so the views are amazing and temperature was always cool, that being said the driveway is a bit steep but well maintained.
We absolutely love it here. This was our 4th 2 week stay. Cabin is spotless and very secluded. The location is great for checking out other towns. We will be back
We spent most of our trip hiking and the cabin was a perfect place to start and end the day. The location is unbeatable, tucked away up in the mountains. Super close to Bartram trail and Cheoah bald. The drive isn’t bad once you get down into the gorge. We stocked up on groceries from an Ingles in Andrews and grilled every night. In the opposite direction there’s a neat outfitters store in Wesser, and Bryson city is nearby as well as the southern edge of the smokies. If you take Waya road south the lake isn’t too far, and I’d definitely suggest hiking Siler bald. The view from the top is beautiful, and it’s not a difficult hike compared to Cheoah Bald. Also from the fire watch tower on Waya Bald you can view both Siler and Cheoah bald, which is pretty cool to see after hiking either of those. Franklin is also close by that area, and I’d suggest walking through the town if you have the chance.Dan and Sheila are very nice and responsive if anything comes up. When we visit Nantahala again, we’ll definitely return to this cabin.
