We loved the cozy cabin and the views. Our children enjoyed kayaking in the lake. We enjoyed having breakfast (grilled fish) on the deck. The metallic smell and taste of tap water was strange. We saw a moose from our window. We had a great stay. Thank you
We really enjoyed this camp, the location, and the pond it is on. The guys managed to catch some nice trout in the pond. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks.
We loved our spot on Loon lake,it was a great spot to come back to after fishing the Kenai River or after hiking the ocean shoreline. We could not have asked for a more relaxing location.
We saw 19 moose in 4 days in the area and caught some small rainbow trout off the dock and with their canoes.

Thank you Michael for calling us before our arrival and during our stay! Beautifully located near Kenia and Soldatna which easily provided access to fishing and two awesome golf courses! Incredible view with all amenities and then some! We took the canoes out and caught some trout! Moose were on the property! Great barbeque and hot tub! Hilarious and fun interior pictures of local wildlife! We will refer our friends, families and collegues!!! Thank you so very much and we will be back in 2020! Beautiful view, but please read on for a couple of things to note.
Beautiful view. A couple of disappointing things though. The upstairs bathroom doesn't have a shower head. It's listed as 2 bathrooms but, I couldn't find anything that said the upstairs was only a tub and oddly enough it has a shower curtain. There were 5 of us who had to share the small downstairs shower. Also, the master bedroom had an odd foam topper on it that you just sunk into and not in a good way The house was clean and had all the kitchen utensils you would need. The dryer still had a load of sheets and towels in it when we arrived. Overall, we made it work. Had the description been clear about the upstairs being only a tub, we wouldn't have rented. If I missed it in the description, that's on me but, I checked while we were there and it's not explained well.

Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated. We apologize if your stay at Loon Lake Alaska was less than perfect. The handheld shower head broke upstairs and will be repaired. The mattress topper is remove-able, again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

great getaway
We spent four days with our family of four at Loon Lake and loved our time spent. The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Our boys, 6 and 9, enjoyed fishing, canoeing on the lake, and running around with another family staying two cabins down.

Great place. Very convenient for Kenai adventures.
Mike's place was very comfortable, and furnished with all the necessities. It's close to Soldotna, which made it easy logistically for salmon and halibut fishing. Beautiful views of the lake, with boats to paddle and fish for trout. Bring the flyrod because the trout were jumping everywhere.

Super Clean & Convenient
Extremely clean and well-appointed house. Plush towels, quality shampoo, plenty of freebies in the kitchen. Beautiful view and quiet for the most part. Owner extremely accommodating and communicative. Bring bottled water for drinking--house water is super hard.
