The house has 1,400 square feet including a full kitchen, dining and living areas, two bedrooms and two baths. The covered deck seats six and has a framed view of Lake Sequoyah and its bridge. Six guests can sleep comfortably on queen sized beds. Internet and local television are provided; bring your computer and NetFlix account for expanded viewing pleasure. The living room features a natural wood fireplace built of stone and an architecturally unique ceiling. The kitchen is furnished with stove and oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, pots and pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, wine glasses, and many other cooking implements. The owners live onsite in a separate home. The access is well marked. Only the final nine-tenths of a mile is gravel and it is well-maintained in order to accommodate all types of vehicles, including those pulling small trailers.
Summer Rain Cottage is 10.8 miles from Razorback Stadium and 35 miles from Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Lake Sequoyah is known as a fishing lake and the boat launch is about two miles away. Other nearby attractions include Beaver Lake with its fishing, boating, swimming and birding.
