Beach vibes all around. Love the proximity to the beach and glad we had 1 hot day so the kids got to experience having a dip in the water and playing in the sand. The cottage itself is beautifully renovated and lovingly well-maintained. We appreciate the opportunity to stay in the property.

I remembered my Mom - she had the same sewing machine.

Fire pit at the back is perfect for roasting marshmallows while listening to the waves.

Karels Place is a great place to stay!

Cute little beach house right on Long beach. All the amenities you need for a family holiday. Comfortable Beds, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom/laundry, Air-conditioning plenty of comfortable seating....all in a quiet, picturesque location. Recommend!!

I understand not wanting to provide beach towels but no pillowcases or be linen is pretty disappointing. The beds had doonas with covers but only mattress protectors which wasn't in the property description. Lucky we always take our own beach towels and own pillows but this is pretty average given the price of the property.

Second time just as good as the first

This is the second time staying at Aida's property and we enjoyed every moment as much as the first. Our family had such a nice relaxing time and the house itself provides all the comforts needed for a coast getaway. The beach practically on our doorstep makes this property worth every cent. We are looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Lawn to the Dunes - an incredible place to stay!

Karel's at Long Beach has been in our family for 70 years. It is a very special place for many family and friends. Spending every weekend at the beach was wonderful. Each weekend we would travel as a family from Canberra to our beach house. We spent weekends walking along the beach, fishing, bushwalking, watching the dolphins, swimming and shell collecting. These were great memories which have stayed with our family to this day. We hope you can create your own memories and enjoy this special slice of heaven.

Why they chose this property

This property was bought 75 years ago. It is the original beach cottage which was bought by my father Karel. It has been totally renovated inside and the position is to die for.

The beach and sand is your backyard. A few steps away from the house you will enjoy total bliss and tranquility at the best beach on the South Coast Long Beach. Long beach is also a dog friendly beach.
