Nestled among the trees just steps from Seneca Lake, Seneca Lake Access offers a unique combination of privacy, recreation, and convenience. Whether you're planning a family vacation, lake getaway, wine country adventure, or relaxing retreat with friends, this spacious A-frame provides the perfect home base for exploring the Finger Lakes.

One of the property's most unique features is its proximity to Smith Memorial Park. Guests can walk to the park and Seneca Lake in approximately five minutes (about ten minutes with young children or those with limited mobility). During the summer season, the park features a lifeguarded swim beach, dock, boat launch, picnic areas, grills, playgrounds, and beautiful views of Seneca Lake.

Unlike many lake-access properties, you'll enjoy the benefits of being close to the water while still returning to the privacy and space of a large wooded setting. As the only permanent residence on the road leading to the park, the property feels remarkably secluded despite being just minutes from Watkins Glen and many of the Finger Lakes' most popular attractions.

The outdoor spaces are designed for making memories together. Spend your days at the lake, then return home to soak in the hot tub, cool off in the seasonal plunge pool, gather around the oversized fire pit, enjoy dinner on the outdoor dining deck, or challenge family and friends to a friendly putting competition.

Inside, the home offers comfortable accommodations across three levels, highlighted by a vaulted great room with a wall of windows, spacious gathering areas, and a large eat-in kitchen designed for bringing people together.

The lower level has become a guest favorite, featuring custom boat beds and a 300-square-foot arcade that provides hours of entertainment for kids and adults alike.

Located near Watkins Glen, wineries, breweries, waterfalls, hiking trails, and countless Finger Lakes attractions, Seneca Lake Access offers the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and family fun.

Everything about our stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Finger Lakes. The house is spacious and very clean, with beautiful lake views from many windows. The hosts, Annie and Gary, were very accommodating and communicative, letting us check in early due to a snow storm that came through and checking the next morning to see if we needed a plow. The location is great, near many of the breweries we wanted to visit on this trip, with good food nearby as well. Our pup loved it too!

We stayed at Annie and Gary's home a few weeks ago. We love that we were able to bring our dog as we do not travel without her. House was clean and obviously large enough for my family. Location was wonderful and it really is about a 10 min walk to the water/beach. We walked our dog over to Smith Park daily and were able to take her swimming too!! Few hiccups during our stay but Annie and Gary were very quick to respond and resolve any issues. Would absolutely recommend staying here and hope to again in the future.

Feels like home

This house was perfect for our stay, a relaxing time in the woods but close to the lake. It’s a lovely setup and such a large space for a family or group of friends to enjoy!

Great family friendly stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for our Winter break with our teenagers. The location was great and the hot tub was perfect for the snowy/icy weather we had! Communication with the owners was great. We enjoyed every aspect and wish we could have stayed longer. Will be staying here again!

Perfect house for family vacation

This was our 4th stay and we still love it. Great house, great location. Perfect for all 3 generations. My 7-year-old granddaughter says it's her favorite place in the world :)

All ages in our group had a wonderful time. The house itself was exactly what we were looking for, clean and comfortable. There were many things to do in the area and easy to get to. It was great!

The house had everything we needed! Kids loved the air hockey and swimming in the pool. It was easy to get to Watkins glen, Ithaca, and Seneca falls. Great place to stay.

We’re a husband-and-wife team who fell in love with the Finger Lakes long before we ever imagined hosting guests here. After years of spending summers on Seneca Lake and returning to the area whenever we could, we purchased our first vacation rental in 2014 and eventually made the Finger Lakes our full-time home in 2019.

What began as a single vacation home has grown into VRFLX, a small collection of guest-focused properties designed to help visitors experience the very best of the region we love. Along the way, we traded corporate careers for hospitality, allowing us to focus full-time on creating memorable stays and continually improving each home.

Today, we're raising our two kids (and one very spoiled dog) in the Finger Lakes and are grateful to share this special place with guests from across the country.
