Esta casa de campo situada a la derecha en el lago Cayuga, fue construido en 1826 en Kidders aterrizaje. La casa fue renovada para proporcionar comodidades modernas. La casa tiene 200 pies de césped frente al mar con una suave pendiente y un nuevo muelle de 100 'construido en abril de 2016 con una escalera de baño y una gran plataforma para pescar y saltar al agua.

La casa tiene capacidad para 8-10 cómodamente y puede ser adaptado para albergar a más. Además de estar situado en el lago y en el corazón de los Finger Lakes Wine Country, El alojamiento Porche lago Cayuga pintado es también cerca de 200 yardas de una tienda de comestibles de temporada fantástica y un divertido pequeña cabaña de troncos hotel / restaurante / bar. El césped desciende hasta la playa de esquisto. El muelle es nuevo y va 100 'hacia el lago. The comfort of this home and the accessibility of the lake with swimming and boating all added to our family's delight with our vacation. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms fit the needs of our family ( 7 adults and 2 children) very well. The front porch was our favorite spot at any time of day. We loved our stay, communicated well with the owner, and hope to return for another family vacation!

it was a very nice home with lots of character. comfortable and good times on the porch overlooking the lake. had a great time boating, skiing, tubing and a lot of water activities. one recommendation we would make is that you would treat for the bugs that were in the upstairs bathroom. not terrible, just a little annoying. other than that, a very pleasant stay. hostess was very responsive and accommodating to our questions

A renovated historic lakefront home, beautifully decorated with plenty of room for our family of seven adults, two toddlers and two dogs. Close to wineries and a short drive to Ithaca and Seneca Falls.We spent a lovely week exploring the area.Our hosts could not have been more generous and gracious.

The house is amazing. It's very clean, great location with the lake access, pet friendly. Allison communicated very well. She took care of a fallen tree during the storm in such a quick amount of time that didn't impact our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again in the future.

House was extremely clean. Kitchen is spacious. Front porch is wonderful for relaxing and nice views of the lake. Boat launch up the road is convenient. The owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay there with the family again.

This is a beautiful house where we have stayed twice over the years. There are many comfortable rooms for the whole family to enjoy. The lake and the lake deck are great for a quiet morning or a late night bonfire. The kitchen is well equipped. The space is lovely and well decorated. The entire multigenerational family enjoyed our stay.

This was the second time we've stayed at this property for a multi-generational get-together, with dogs. We had a great time again. The lake beach with dock, across a usually quiet road, is great for kids (and dogs), though you'll want water shoes. The yard is big--kids and dogs spent a lot of time there-- and so is the house, which is set up so that people can have their own spaces or everyone can be together. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. We enjoyed the bench swing on the porch, too. The porch is also big enough to be a good play space for kids. Lots to like, and nothing to complain about. The renovated downstairs bathroom is nice.

Lakeside Vacation

Great time with family. Excellent location with a very communucative and respinsive host. The house is located with a great view of the lake. Ot is perfect for a laid back getaway.We had some grey weather but still had a great time with family playing games and relaxing walks.

Great place to stay. Location was awesome. We were there for a wedding in the area. Family from all over the country were able to stop by for dinner or just a drink. Lake was amazing with plenty to do for all ages.

Wonderful Memories for a Family Weekend

Beautiful home with everything we needed for a family getaway. The front porch was one of my favorite spots to sit with the grandkids and watch the lake. Plenty of room for everyone and lots to do in the area as well.

We absolutely loved this house! It was spacious, comfortable, and easily accommodated our group of seven. The owners have truly thought of everything.If you're a bird lover, bring bird seed! The feeders right outside the huge kitchen windows attracted an amazing variety of birds all day long. If the window wasn't there, you could reach out and touch them...that's how close they are! Between the backyard birds and the lake views, my only complaint was that I couldn't be in two places at once! Over the course of the week, I observed forty one different species of birds!! My two year old granddaughter was really getting into it and could identify several different birds by the end of the week...that was so fun!I spent hours on the porch and dock. I got up to enjoy the beautiful sunrise every day and watched the osprey, great blue herons, and countless swallows over the water. The lake was beautiful—we swam daily—and every evening ended with board games or a campfire with s'mores by the shore.If you can actually convince yourself to leave the house, there are endless things to do nearby. We spent the week chasing waterfalls, and they did not disappoint.This was a wonderful place to make family memories. Allison was very accomdating and we'd happily stay here again!

Beautiful Home and Beautiful Location!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend staying at the Painted Porch. It is a great home in a great location. The home has a large yard, as well as direct and close access to the water. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away at the lake.

Our visit to The Painted Porch was fantastic. The home, neighborhood and time of year made for a perfect getaway with our dogs. We enjoyed the historic nature of the property, and appreciated that it was well appointed, maintained, clean and comfortable for modern life. We enjoyed the nearness of restaurants, as well as the tranquil setting of the lake. It was the perfect mix to enjoy walking, wineries and scenery. Alison was terrific about answering our questions and setting us up for a great time. We hope to come back and visit again. Highly recommend this property!

I grew up in Ithaca and studied there as well. We bought this farm house initially for ourselves. Shortly there after, friends asked to rent it. And then other friends. And then other friends. So, we decided to figure out how to manage it. Last year we had at least 20 rental weeks or weekends and those who review the house have given us good reviews. We come to visit as often as we can and we spend the income from the rentals improving the property.

We love the walk-in beach, as much of Cayuga lake has a cliff drop off into the lake. We love the authenticity of the 1826 home. Of course it came with many construction surprises, but we are committed to keeping it more original than not. We love that it is simple. And we love that we can immediately relax when we get there. We love the no-technology house, with the safety net of the restaurant down the street as well as great cell service. And we love that we can be at any number of wineries in a few minutes. And most of all, we love the porch. The porch brings a nice social aspect to the home, but with an intimate setting as well as a a fun way to invite neighbors to stop up for a drink.

This house is in a wonderful neighborhood. We love the quietness and how all of the neighbors walk by with their dogs every single day. The huge waterfront (over 200') also lends great privacy. Sitting out on the 100' long dock is heavenly. We love that it is far enough from any "downtowns" that the stars are Texas-bright and the atmosphere is completely silent at night. We love the beer garden by the kitchen door and the patio by the lake. We have never had an un-happy visitor.

Finally, we have the best family picture tree in the world right in our front yard!
