We were well accommodated by Bella VIsta and the family. GREAT stay.

A home away from home for us, our large dog and our elderly cat, we were comfortable in the space, enjoyed the setting and screened porch, and appreciated the hospitality of Danielle and Richard. This is the best VRBO stay we have ever had and is highly recommended.

Heaven!

We came to Bella Terra for the week of Christmas to visit family in the area. Check in was so easy, and Danielle had decorated for Christmas! Bella Terra is so quiet and like heaven away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again for sure.

A Respite

We thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, tranquil property. Danielle could not have been kinder. This was far and away the cleanest rental we’ve ever experienced. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was a dream. We would definitely stay again!

BFF Birthday Weekend

My dear friend and I rented Bella Terra To celebrate our daughters’ 13th and 14th birthdays. It was the perfect place to get away and chill, makes S’mores and watch old movies and play games. Danielle, along with her husband and sweet daughter made us feel right at home!!! They were so kind, gracious & super responsive!!! Will definitely visit again!

I wish I could rate my stay with a thousand stars. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and our interactions with our host and her family were so welcoming... they made us feel at home. My fur kids loved running around and exploring the beautiful property, they even made a few friends. We loved the barn, the layout, the decor, and all the amenities were just amazing. I can't say enough.. just perfection in every detail.

Just perfect!

Had questions before we requested a stay - owners responded promptly & were so friendly. We made our reservation & Danielle sent me a message as we were driving there, asking if we needed her to make up the pull-out sofa bed since we would be arriving later in the evening - What a thoughtful hostess! Couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay - Bella Terra is even better in person, the pictures don’t do it justice! House is neat, clean & has everything you need & the outdoor area is perfect - private & relaxing! Owners went above & beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely stay there again when back in the area.

An amazingly relaxing family retreat!

We stayed at Bella Terra for 4 nights and wow, what a wonderful and relaxing retreat! It was sparkling clean, the outside areas were absolutely beautiful and THAT PORCH! It rained on one of the days we were there but the huge porch felt like you were outside still. Even with a 3 and 4 year old, it was relaxing. My kids loved the pond and the waterfall and both are still talking about wanting to go back. My 3 year old said he wanted to stay forever. On top of the great stay was the wonderful family that hosts the property. They were wonderful to be around, accommodating, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay and my little ones loved playing with Ella Claire! We can't wait to plan our next trip!

Priceless

Bella Terra was a wonderful property, very clean and beautiful. My family of 6 stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen was well stocked. Daniel & Richard were great hosts & very responsive. It was awesome that we were able to bring our dog. The fire pit was used each night, the big block Jenga game was real fun as well as cornhole. 2 of my adult kids slept out on the enclosed porch and they had numerous heaters that throw off a lot of heat. Highly recommened!!!

Beautiful Property

My husband and I stayed here with a group of friends while throwing a baby shower. It was the perfect place. While we didn't get to use many of the outdoor amenities due to the weather, it was an absolute magical place to stay and host family and friends to celebrate the coming of our little one. Danielle was very accommodating, friendly, and very responsive to our needs! We had to make a last minute change to our sleeping arrangements and she allowed us to use the loft apartment available on the fly for a small fee. The land is gorgeous and there is a pond up front, beautiful for picture taking. Thank you!

Great stay!! Perfect for large groups.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. It was a perfect accommodation for our extended family as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make simple meals. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the fire pit as well as good walks around the property. The extended porch with the heaters were perfect for coffee in the mornings and afternoon cocktails. We had lunch one day in nearby Matthews And dinner one night in Mint Hill. Both about a 10 minutes drive. Had we not had a wedding to attend, there would’ve been plenty of activities in the area to keep us busy and occupied. Danielle and her husband were perfect hosts, nearby if needed, very accommodating, but never intrusive. I would no doubt stay here again If the need arises. Would recommend it as a perfect spot for large groups!

Gorgeous and serene!!

Bella Terra is the most heavenly VRBO we have ever stayed in! Surrounded by beautiful land with a porch that extends the entire length of the home - we stayed in the porch most of the time we were there! There are heaters so you can enjoy the feeling of being outside with nature in the porch any time of the year. The home is so beautiful - every part of it is just gorgeous, down to the fixtures, furnishings, lights - everything! We were able to walk all around the property with our dog and there are large areas to play ball with your dog as well. Just perfect in every way! Danielle, the owner is so hospitable and friendly, and is close by in the event you need anything. I would give 100 stars for this property if I could! Our son goes to college nearby and this place will be where we will stay to go watch his games and visit. Perfection!!

Couples Wedding Shower

Venue sits on a beautiful piece of property with lots of room for your guests to explore. There is even fish food to feed the fish in the pond! The outdoor patio and screened porch are perfect for an outdoor event. It's pleasant place for a large group to sit around the fire and roast marshmallows too! Owner has tons of items available to use for your event and is very helpful in getting the things you need to host your event. Owner even called the cleaning service while we were setting up to help clean chairs and tables that were dirty from being outside in the storage area. Disappointments: The house was full of clutter - not true to the pictures on the website, event clutter was not picked up from the prior event, laundry still in the washer/dryers in both the upper apartment & main level & outdoor cushions for chairs were too dirty for guest to sit on. There was so much clutter in the extra bedrooms on the main level where our adult children were suppose to stay for the weekend that four of them ended up not staying overnight with us for the long weekend. There was plenty of room for our 50 guests but it took awhile to sort through chairs and tables that were not broken and safe for our guests. In the end it was a beautiful place to host our son and his finance's wedding shower.

Great location and concept BUT BE AWARE.

While the property and the concept of the space is wonderful - my kids enjoyed having the space outside to run around and ride bikes, even roast marshmallows - for our stay there were many inaccuracies missing from the listing that may have skewed our decision to book. First, this is NOT a private multi-acre property you are renting with privacy. The owner is onsite and a stone's throw away. While there is nothing wrong with a guest house, this is not listed as a guest house and we were not made aware that this would not be a private stay. Secondly, the property photos showcase the middle of the barn rental space set up for events, but it is essentially storage with glassware, chairs, tables and many breakable items everywhere. Other than the half bath - which could be challenging to get to - this larger space is unusable. There was a ladder left out that we tripped over in the middle of the night. Finally, there is no specific check in or check out document as I have experienced with many other rentals where you go about things as you need. The host meets you at the house and will frequently message your direct number at all hours of the night. This I found to be inappropriate and again I would not have booked this place if that level of interaction was provided. I will refrain from adding other interactions, however I will add some pros. The host was accommodating to our adding a 5th wheel to the property and the living space, exterior spaces were awesome. The property was great, however if you are traveling with small kids please be aware that it is not "child proofed" by any means.

Family Time

Great property. Country feel, fairly close to city. We were attending a wedding in the city and didn't get to enjoy the amenities like I would have liked. Bring a book and enjoy the fire pit, one of any 4. For a fall getaway, this place is ideal.

Wonderful Stay

My best friend and I celebrated our birthday at Bella Terra and the entire experience was amazing . The property owners Danielle and Richard are wonderful. Danielle checked in with us before and during our stay to see if we needed anything. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a snack tray (greatly appreciated after a long drive). The property was beautiful and just as described. We utilized the lovely landscape and pond to take pictures. Even though it was July, Richard built a fire so we could make s’mores. They did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone. We’re already trying to plan when we can come back. Thanks Danielle and Richard for helping make our birthday memorable!

Family Gathering

Bella Terra was the PERFECT place for our parents, children, grandchildren and dogs to spend the weekend together. The grounds are stunning and the inside of the home is beautifully decorated with plenty of room for all of us. We hired a photographer for family photos and had more than enough background opportunities. We highly recommend this incredible property.

❤BLISSFUL SERENITY❤

The Bella Terra is a home away from home. What an amazing, beautiful and tranquil place to stay. We had some unfortunate events happen to us after driving 12 hours from Florida and we had checked in to another VRBO house just one town over that we had to leave due to it being uninhabitable. Danielle and Rick from the Bella Terra were more than helpful making the transition from one home to another easy for us and literally saved our vacation. Danielle greeted us with a bottle of delicious Prosecco and calming music playing in the background as we walked into her breathtaking barnaminium. The grounds were meticulously kept with beautiful trails and a clean pond to swim in. Our dog was more than welcomed as it is a very clean pet friendly home. The place was spotless and cozy, but extremely spacious, and we felt more than welcome to be there even with dropping in on them within the last second. Our hosts Danielle and Rick were very attentive and friendly, the king size bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was a complete therapeutic experience 😊. The blankets and sheets were so soft and smelled amazing, we all slept better than we have in months during our stay at Bella Terra. The darkening curtains left the rooms, as well as the entire home, feeling like a cave which was great for watching Netflix on a lazy day when it rained, but opened up wide for stunning views of the property. The TVs in every room had Netflix as well as other streaming options which was very enjoyable. The patio and fire pit with deck was such a cute and comfy place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The garden was well maintained and a lovely to place sit on a sunny day. There was really no need to leave the property, and we didn’t most days. Our hosts, including their beautiful daughter, Ellaclaire, were such a delight to be around. Anything we needed was immediately addressed but really not much was needed as the place was thoughtfully, carefully and fully stocked with anything you could think of. We will definitely be back, possibly for my daughter's wedding, which would be a perfect place, and would definitely recommend staying here in this place of serenity. Thank you so much Danielle, Rick and Ellaclaire for a much needed stay. xx

I practiced as a dental hygienist for 20 years before meeting my husband who is a professional landscaper. Once we were married and had a baby, I decided to stay home to raise our daughter.
I also have my aesthetician license which I have primarily used to volunteer for Look Good Feel Better which is a free program for women that are going through cancer treatment.

If you want to travel all around the Charlotte area, it is easy to reach any destination from here thanks to our close proximity to the interstate.
Bella Terra allows guests different opportunities for relaxing and/or being active including:
Use of the 3 fire pits.
Enjoy nature (listen to the birds sing through out the day and to the frogs at night).
Cooking indoors or grilling outside.
There are both indoor and outdoor games.
Enjoy the walking trails around the property.
Take in the beautiful sunset by the pond.
