Awesome Place

The cottage was 126 years old but extremely well maintained. The hosts had lots of little touches which made the stay more pleasant and lots of memorabilia which made the stay very interesting.

Wonderful just wonderful!

Loved our time at Banksia cottage. A beautiful cottage with fireplace and really well stocked for visitors. Made us and the dog feel very safe and welcome. Would stay here again, it was great.

Toowoomba weekend away

A beautifully appointed cottage with lovely character. Excellent cleanliness and thoughtful additions by hosts. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and our Golden Retriever was very happy with her holiday home. We would highly recommend this property.

A peaceful visit

A lovely traditional cottage, with mostly wooden floors and walls and high ceilings. Bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets and quilts for when it got cool. The garden was very inviting and it was lovely to sit on the front verandah and watch the world go by.

A Tranquil Escape from the Busy Life

From our frist stepping onto the verandah we breathed a sigh of relief to be here at Banksia Cottage. Open the front door to a personalised welcome greeting hit the spot. Beautifully presented home, we loved it. Nothing out of place, everything we needed. Can clearly see the pride and love that has been put into the home from the bright fresh bedrooms to the verandah and is comfy seating to the sitting areas scattered throughout the back yard. Loved how you even had the possum's come out on que. Thank you for a wonderful three nights.

Fabulous location, extraordinary property

Amazing house in fabulous location. Quality facilities provided by hosts. Plenty of information on how to use facilities. All touches well thought out for happiness of customer. Delightful!

A beautifully presented cottage that gives a homely feel right from the moment you walk in the front door. We didn't want for anything with all living areas well equipped to make our stay comfortable and stress free. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet neighbourhood and within close proximity to the CBD and attractions. Thank you Ange and Jeff for providing this wonderful pet friendly accommodation that can be enjoyed by all!

Gorgeous historic cottage

We stayed 2 nights as a couple in this spacious and gorgeous historic cottage. It is very well equipped and meticulously clean. The Mort Estate Hotel is a fantastic up-market pub located a casual 350 mt walk away. The only negative was the very unpleasant heavily scented sticks located throughout the house which made us gag even after removing them. The price is extremely reasonable.

Beautiful & inviting for the whole family!

The cottage is inviting and cosy. Jeff and Ange have so many little touches and details that make the cottage unique and comfortable. It is clean with clear user guides for everything in the cottage. The cottage is full fenced and set up for dogs. The dogs LOVED being on holidays and exploring the garden. The beds are super comfortable with lovely linen. Super central location that is walking distance from cafes, shops and restaurants. Thank you Jeff and Ange for the beautiful stay. The whole family love visiting the cottage.

Home away from home

Its the little things that made the difference. Champagne, coffee, milk, hair dryer and straightener. Hand soap, fresh flowers and herbs. Etc etc. Everything you need is there when you first arrive. Tastefully comfortable. Quiet area. Gorgeous gardens. Great for pets. Hosts were always helpful.

We fell in love with Banksia Cottage the first time we walked through the door. A few weeks later, we were the proud new owners of the historic Banksia Cottage. Our guests love Banksia Cottage because it is enchanting and historic. The location is also unbeatable, positioned in a quiet tree-lined street, but only a 10 minute walk from the CBD, restaurants, parks and gardens!
