Fantastic stay

It was a really nice and cozy stay at this property. Check in and out was easy, the location was awesome as most attractions were only 15 minutes away in any direction. And you had walmart right behind us for anything we may have needed in our stay.

Great vacation stay

It was perfect for us as we traveled around sight seeing during the day and rested at night. Living room was great for visiting about the day and planning for the next in the evenings.

Great property and location

The house was amazing and exactly as advertised. It was very central to everything we needed and provided a nice, quiet neighborhood. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and very quick to respond.

H❤️me Away from Home

This was the perfect place to meet with family for a long weekend and to celebrate our nephew’s 3rd birthday together. The property had everything we could need from the kitchen to the bathroom. Located walking distance to stores in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the indoor patio and backyard set up for the little one to play! Would stay here again on our next visit to San Antonio.

Nice renovation

The renovation on this home was well thought out. Modern but keeping a lot of the original touches. Also it was very interesting to find out that all of the art was done by the owner.

Pleasant stay

I would recommend this property to anyone staying on the Northwest side of San Antonio. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is comfortable with many conveniences. Walmart is just around the corner. Kathy is quick to respond to your questions if you need anything. Highly recommend!

Needed a place close to University hospital b/c newborn in NICU and we don't live in TX. This house was perfect! So clean and beautiful. Felt safe and secure. Will definitely look up the Maine location when we vacation there.

New years holiday

Overall the house is pretty nice and comfy. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen everything was clean. The only observation I would make is the room that’s besides the living room, it doesn’t have privacy at all, all the lights from outside gets in at night and there’s no heat so the room was very cold. This room has to be detailed in the house description. I would definitely stay again whenever I come back to San Antonio.

Cozy Townhome

We chose this property due to its proximity to everything. The neighborhood was super quiet. The property was kept cleaned and sanitized with Young Living products. While this listing does list a 3rd bed- it’s located in a room with only a fan and felt rather warm for someone to sleep in. Luckily our group was fine with the 2 bedrooms listed and living room. The owner was very responsive and the use of the garage was a HUGE plus for us.

Lovely, clean home

Communication with the owner was fast and efficient and needed at various times. The home is decorated tastefully and is immaculately clean. It is roomy and has nearly all the amenities needed. A toaster and teapot would help in the kitchen. Also, hooks in the bathroom would be nice. I highly suggest that there is a process for checking out the property before your guests check in. Also, the tv in the bedroom doesn't work. The sound bar remote control even with new batteries never worked so the sound between the sound bar and tv in the main living area was never modulated therefore making the tv unusable. The central location of the property is a definite plus. Many amenities are within walking distance, too.

Great experience

I stayed with my college student who had knee surgery at nearby medical complex and recovered for a few days at this lovely property. Kathy was a great communicator and it was very much appreciated (and much needed) that she bought a serving tray/tv tray to have in the bedroom of my student, since hobbling to the kitchen wasn't possible for a few days. There were plenty of nightlights; it was well-supplied with soap, detergent, wash cloths, hand towels, etc.; the place was clean, including very clean furniture and carpet; bedrooms were dark for sleeping (blackout curtains); beds were very comfortable; felt very secure in the neighborhood; quiet area. It was also great having televisions in both bedrooms. I had trouble getting enough internet to be able to work on my laptop, but not really sure why, because it was fine with our phones. It was not a problem for us, but some people could be disappointed that there is not much natural light in the bedrooms - there is no way to really to have the blinds open more than a crack. We would definitely stay here again.

The Kansas vacationer

The place was nice , clean and comfy. Our 1st time in San Antonio and this place was convenient and between everywhere we want to go. From six flags to river walk and from the Alamo to sea world. We have a great time. Owner very responsive and will ready to answer any questions you have about the property. We definitely stay again when we back in San Antonio.

Perfect Stay

Our daughter is in the military and needed a home to relax and rehab after surgery. This house was perfect! It was very clean and extremely comfortable! It had every thing we needed. The bedrooms are good size and the bathrooms are very roomy. This location is close to everything. We were close enough to Fort Sam and the River walk. We even got in a visit to the San Antonio Zoo!! A must see! The property manager Kathy was amazing! We needed to get in early and extend our stay and Kathy was extremely helpful! She was kind and thoughtful. We cannot wait to come back to San Antonio and this will be the house we will stay in again and again! Thank you so much for making your home our home!!

Why they chose this property

Upscale hotel-comfort within an entire home to relax in and enjoy. This property has been completely renovated with all the nice things you may want (or have) in your own home. It's not a "make-shift" vacation rental.

Besides the nice design, the biggest thing guests enjoy about these two properties on Honey Hill is the central location convenient to restaurants and 4-10, the hidden neighborhood and spacious elegant rooms. "We love it" is what I usually hear from our guests. This is what is most important to us!

Recent guest's review, "Our stay at the Honey Hill house in San Antonio was terrific! This bright, beautifully appointed, little house had all the amenities we could want for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and practically walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Plus, it was only 7-9 miles from all the major attractions we wanted to visit which made commuting a snap (except for rush hour!) Sure beats all those cramped hotel rooms! Staying in this lovely little "home" made our San Antonio "Girls Getaway" vacation a wonderful experience!"
