The house is really pretty especially inside, but the back with the screened in porch is awesome and the dock provides a great place to see manatees and other wildlife. Very clean and comfortable. We’d definitely like to come back!

Scalloping with friends

This is a great location to get out to the Gulf and scallop and come back to the Springs and celebrate the catch. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

This house is perfect for stay near the springs. We enjoyed kayaking in the area and watching the manatees swim by the dock. The house is in the perfect location to watch the boats go by and not too far to kayak to the Homosassa Spring State Park. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch in the evening to avoid the mosquitos. We cooked breakfast in the mornings and enjoyed checking out the local restaurants for lunch or dinner. We are looking forward to another stay here next year.

Manatee Heaven

This house is on the perfect spot on the Homosassa River. We saw many manatees from the dock and enjoyed the boat traffic outside. It is close to the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park, which is really great. The outdoor furniture is updated from the photos with nice Adirondack chairs. The kitchen is adequate for a rental and the main living space is large and comfortable. The only negative is that the mattresses are hard and not comfortable at all. The master bedroom mattress is the worst. If the beds were comfortable, it would get 5 stars for sure! I also wish the rental came with kayaks or included information on how to rent them for several days. Most rental agencies nearby only rent for trips. Seeing the manatees was magical and a bucket list item for sure!

Comfortable home with great river views

This was our second stay on the river, we were there for the month of Feb. House has been redone since our last visit. River views are amazing, daily visits from the manatee. Also saw dolphin, otters, osprey and eagles from the dock. House is only a short ride or paddle to the springs. Located close to major grocery stores, Publix, and Winn-Dixie. Just a short ride to Old Homosassa and the restaurants that they offer. The master bedroom is very comfortable with its own sitting area and TV. The two guest bedrooms are on the other side of the house, affording lots of privacy if you go with 2 couples. All communication with the owners, Kate & Don, was easy and prompt. Found them to be great people to deal with. Nice L-shaped dock for sitting, sunning, or tying up your boat. Ladder off of the dock provides easy access for swimmers. House is at the end of a dead-end street so there is no traffic. Also a good neighborhood to walk in, everyone we met was very friendly. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful River House.

This house was great, very well stocked, plenty of towels etc... the kitchen had everything you need, plenty of dishes. The screen porch and the backyard are great, we enjoyed just sitting out there and watching the boats on the river. We saw manatees, dolphins and lots of fish. The host responded right away whe we had any questions. We had a wonderful weekend. We go out to Homosassa a lot and this was definitely one of the best houses we have stayed in. Would recommend this one for sure.

Great weekend getaway

We had a great time! Perfect location near the springs. Nice open floor plan. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We saw a ton of manatees and dolphin. The kids had a blast kayaking and fishing. We would highly recommend booking and plan on returning for another visit.

Our stay was delightful. House was spotless. Cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. We enjoyed hanging out on the dock and sitting out in the yard and watching all the boats and kayaks float by. Saw manatees and one dolphin. We will return to stay again. Very thankful for this rental home. Made many memories.

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Very clean, dock was perfect.. we saw many manatees swimming by and were able to launch kayaks from property. Would definitely stay again; however, I have definitely dealt with better property managers. I asked Evolve a question and it took 2 weeks for a response. Also, we received a text for day of arrival with check in info and were told "do not arrive before 4pm check in time". A simple "check in is 4pm" would have been a nicer way to put it. But that is the manager, the house was great

Had a wonderful trip. Veiwed many manatees right from the dock. Kayaked right from property. Great stay. ONLY communication with property manager was a text stating checkin procedures aand basically do not show up even 1 minute early. Did not like dealing with Evolve, I asked a question and it took them 2 weeks to respond. BUT that all said, the property was perfect and would stay again.

We’ve eyeballed most houses on the river for years after our year round fifth wheel was flooded in a storm. We’ve always loved the area of the rover this house is on. It’s been updated and was clean for our arrival. Can’t get a better location and we found everything we needed. Hope to be back soon.

Amazing Property

Amazing Vacation

We had the most amazing vacation!!! Nancy went above and beyond to make our stay so welcoming, memorable, and special! The property is perfect from the inside to the outside. We enjoyed fishing, watching manatees, and relaxing on the water. Also a great location convenient to food and local attractions. We are already planning our next trip back!
