Our riverfront home is located on a 1/3 mile of beachfront property along the scenic Upper Delaware River, between the Catskills and Pocono Mountains in Barryville, NY. As you enter the home, your eyes will be drawn through the living room to the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the vastness of unspoiled river and mountains. Outside is a large deck and manicured lawn with direct, private access to the pristine river. Boating, fishing, swimming and eagle watching are a few activities you can enjoy from the backyard. Julius is a great host and very friendly. I’ve stayed at his property 3 times and the family and I enjoy it so much each time. You can’t ask for a more beautiful property to stay on. The view was spectacular! Very peaceful. We even caught fish! The house had a lot of room. The kitchen was large so it fit all 7 of us. The checkin/check out process was easy. The property owner was super nice and helpful. We would definitely rent this again and recommend it to others.

We came for a quick visit with a family member in a wheelchair. The property worked well for her with a beautiful deck for enjoying the river and an accessible bedroom/bathroom. The original part of the house has beautiful wood and fire place and lots of character. The kitchen is stocked with nice pans.

A Gorgeous Property with Amazing View!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this home. While it is located in easy walking distance to the quaint village of Barryville NY it feels totally private sitting on the large back deck taking in the view of the pristine Delaware River. The living room has huge windows and is very comfortable. Julius lives just across the road and is very helpful. He knows the area extremely well and also helped us organize a rafting trip. We are planning on returning next summer because we had such a fantastic experience!

It could have been better

Beds are horrible, house is old but there has been zero upgrades since it was built. 1 bed room was so creepy that we just kept the door closed. Even my dogs were uncomfortable . They were glued to my wife. We even left a night early. River on the other hand was fantastic.
