Perfect position! Only minutes walk from the hub of the main shopping precinct and Lake Daylesford you may not need to get into your car once arriving at Kookaburra cottage.

You will find a gorgeous two bedroom cottage which has everything you require to enjoy a relaxing time away.

Bedroom One - Bedding can be a King bed or two king single beds

Bedroom Two - Bedding can be a King Bed or two king singles

Curl up on the comfy couches and enjoy a glass of wine by the open fire. The cottage also has a ducted heating system as well as reverse cycle air conditioning/heating which ensures your comfort all year round.

Enjoy listen to music on the Bluetooth stereo system or you may prefer to watch a movie.


An undercover outdoor deck area means that when the weather permits you can sit outside, enjoy a drink whilst looking out at the picturesque garden.

The cottage has a yard and is pet friendly so your furry friend doesn't have to get left behind when you go away.

The big backyard also caters for children who might like to kick a ball or play outdoors. There is a huge park next door to the cottage which has children's play equipment as well as a skate park.

Kookaburra cottage is for the sole use of paying guests (maximum four people).

The price displayed is a ‘from’ price based on two people sharing one bedroom.

If you are just a group of two but wish to have both bedrooms please advise so and an additional cost will be advised , otherwise the above will be assumed.

Both bedrooms have king sized beds with crisp white linen. If you prefer four single beds For your group we can also suit these requirements.

Annie is so welcoming and relaxed. Our stay was during a heatwave and we were to pleased to arrive and find the air conditioning was on so we arrived into a cool space. We had access to all the necessary accessories to make our stay with our dog Toby better than we had imagined. The cottage is perfect! Walking distance into Daylesford is just a 5 minute jaunt. So pleased we found kookaburra cottage and will plan another visit when it’s just a bit cooler

This cute little cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable 2-night stay.Comfy beds and couches, everything you needed to cook and prepare meals. Annie's texts prior to and upon check out were super thoughtful and her recommendations on where to go were spot on! Also having the heater on for us upon arrival was a lovely gesture.Will def stay here again!

Kookaburra Cottage was the perfect getaway stay for us. Close to the local shops, clean, great bathroom and king size bed and Annie was the perfect host getting an early check-in for us and even leaving a little celebration hamper as she knew we were coming to Daylesford to celebrate my 50th Birthday! Neat and secure backyard for the dogs to run around as well. We've stayed here before and the best recommendation is that we will be staying here again next year!

Easy acess to both the lake and the township. The house is set up well, comfortable and warm during our winter stay. The yard is perfect for our two pooches and the property manager was fantastic to deal with.

My friend, dog and I had a most enjoyable stay at Kookaburra Cottage. Annie was a wonderful communicator and the property had all the amenities we needed with comfortable beds , great heating and a fenced yard for my dog.An added bonus was the location. Easy walking distance to Vincent Street and the lake and Botanical Gardens.I would definitely recommend a stay at Kookaburra Cottage.
