Well, this is a little gem of a find in Musk. It was perfect for a couple of days away from the hussle and bussle of life. Loved the atmosphere, even when l pulled into the driveway. Thank you to host Martin, check in was a breeze. I entered the cottage to soft warm surroundings, chill music , fire set ready to go. All the amenities you need. If you have a dog, they'll love it too. Passing Cloud Winery was just up the road, leaving with a couple of very nice reds.Istra small goods was a must. And of course, a spa treatment. Overall, I'll be back

The cottage is peaceful with lovely gardens and interesting art to enjoy inside. Martin the host was very accommodating and friendly. We spent our 50th anniversary there with our dog and it was quite safe for her to roam. Stayed three nights and will do it again. Thanks again Martin. Cheers

Yes. The house was charming and beautiful. Something new and interesting to see everywhere. A rug on each chair or couch to keep you warm while curling up with a book or having a nap. I loved it there and the short drive to Dayesford was lovely in this autumn season. Would highly recommend.

Musk was the perfect place to stay, we had our dog and it garden was fenced, the cottage was close to The Lake House where we were treating ourselves to the best meal . Daylesford is beautiful and the walk around the lake is a must. Martin was a wonderful host answering every question immediately

Very clean and cosy, with all the little things you need to be comfortablem and very dog friendly - dog allowed inside and secure fenced area outside with lot's of shadem perfect secluded spot to use as a base from Trentham and Daylesford

Relaxing getaway

I enjoy coming back here as so close to the city but in the country and close to lovely villages. Love the logfire and a good updated movie dvd option.

We enjoyed our stay in the Musk House very much. Need to mention that our two dogs loved it.The house has a wonderful feel, great reflection of local area. Awesome wood burning fireplace, specious outdoor undercover deck. Equipped kitchen with all one need away from home. Bedroom has a balcony, great for having a cup of coffee, glass of or just birds watching. Very short drive to Daylesford.Flexible and accomodating host, pleasure to deal with. Did not want to leave and wanting to return
