You can see the beach and hear the waves and the pool and greenspace is just a step away. Unit was lovely without too much clutter or overwhelming decor. It was perfect for our family. We love the El Matador and have been staying here nearly 20 years. 311 just might be our favorite unit of them all.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Been coming to El Matador since my husband was 10. Excellent Location of unit. Two major complaints. Master bedroom bath was very inconvenient. Had to step into the shower to be able to close the door to use the toilet. Couch was a HUGE issue. Made a horrible sound sitting down on it and sank down into the cushions. Hideaway bed not even usable. Carpet was in ok condition, but needs some serious cleaning. Will not be staying in this unit again unless changes are made.

Not what it used to be.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: please, please, please replace that nasty carpet in both bedrooms. The toilet/shower in the master bath is spooky scary. Tiny area. Can't close the door if you are sitting on the toilet. Fabric couch and leather chair in living room also need replacing. Would not sit on either one without a towel or sheet. When returning keys at checkout the woman at the desk did little more than grunt at us. Couldn't even be bothered to get up from her desk. We've been to El Mat off and on for 25+ years. This is the worst I've ever seen the grass look. We've never seen weeds there before. Now there are weeds, bare spots and it needed cutting the entire time we were there. We did totally appreciate the free beach service. The guy running the beach service was super nice and accommodating!!

Best week ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Once again very happy with our stay. This is our 3rd year staying in the unit. While it needs some updates it does not effect the overall experience. The sliding door is getting a little tough and the wifi did not work. We will be back in 2020!
