Nice property

We were there for a family member’s BMT graduation, the house was good for what we needed and wanted. The lockbox was a little hard to open, the owner was responsive to our concerns and went out of his way to help us which was very much appreciated!

San Antonio Get away

Really enjoyed the stay. The house was super clean and we really enjoyed the pool hot tub. Would certainly recommend this house. Neighborhood is older but very quiet and no issues. The privacy gate is a plus!

family reunion- all girls

I organized a family meet-up and reunion for the Burke women. Our ages ranged from 17-83years old. 2 great-great aunts, 1 great aunt, two great nieces and a niece in law. The great-great Aunts lived in San Antonio. We had the remaining at the rental. The house was perfect; everyone had a bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed, and the pool and spa were fabulous. Loved the privacy of this property. We had so much fun- we never even turned on the TVs.

Nice little centrally located oasis

Don’t be fooled by the neighborhood. The house is tucked back in the lot with a small yet nice pool in the front yard walled off from the street by a wall and space for parking cars. The house was clean, beds were comfy and showers had good water pressure. The kitchen is well stocked including staple condiments, flour, coffee. The pool was clean and pool towels and pool toys were provided. It was very convenient to have the 3 full baths. A plus for our family is its location. Centrally located with respect to downtown, grocery stores and for our purposes… family. We would rent again for a future SA visit.

Pool days

We loved this property! Pool was great with high 80’s We only stayed 2 full days but everything was perfect. Neighborhood is older but quiet and safe. Close to downtown less than 10 minutes away. We would stay again if we are in town. Plus 3 baths! We didn’t need them but for famil would be perfect

Family Vacation

This place is very charming and cute! The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms fit our family perfectly. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. A quick 10 minute drive on the expressway to The Pearl and even downtown to the Riverwalk. The house was very well stocked with all the dishes and tools that we needed to cook. The grill/griddle outside was a wonderful addition. Bathrooms all had towels, body wash, shampoo and hand soap. The only thing I would suggest would be to have some beach towels on hand since there is a gorgeous pool and hot tub which we enjoyed tremendously. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and it being our home away from home for the week.

Nice, clean property with pool & hot tub

Nice property. Very clean. 3 separate bedrooms & 3 bathrooms. The fenced in yard kept it very secluded. I agree with other reviews that it was a somewhat sketchy area, but the neighbors were friendly, it was quiet and we had no problems.I had emailed the property manager a week prior to our stay to request early check-in, but never heard back from him. We arrived about 2 hours early due to flights, but had no trouble getting in early. There were plenty of towels in each bathroom, but it would have been nice to be supplied with beach towels also for the pool.TV's had very few channels, so I would recommend adding a streaming service. However, they did have plenty of DVD movies and board games.There was a list of restaurants provided, but it needs to be updated.Overall it was a nice, clean property.

A Weekend at Grandma's

House looked clean until we noticed a few things...there was a used toothpick laying around on the dresser, the remotes for the TVs were very unclean, and do not look under the couch cushions. The beds were clean and felt like a hotel. Owner responded punctually and was helpful. Please replace the battery in both key fobs for the gate. If you plan on going out the majority of the time, you will be ok with this place. If you plan on staying in for an extended period of time, bring some extra cleaning supplies. Seemed very expensive for the experience.

Very nice,clean & comfortable

We went for our granddaughters graduation, It was perfect for us to hang out and chill. We were kind of skeptical of the neighborhood but turned out very nice and quiet. When we got there the pool pump was broken, called and it was repaired the next morning. I recommend it, super nice.

Book it! You’ll enjoy the moments & make happy memories

Book it! Perfect for family and Airman quality time and space. Secluded area, even though in a town . Little big. Think it is little yet space is big. Everyone had their own space. 3 full showers with good water pressure. Enough hot water for everyone to shower and get to Lackland air force base for events. With no rushing . Bed and bedding comfortably and clean. Entire property is clean . Freshly cleaned and maintained property. From the gate to back of property everything is in place, all clean. Not one negative about this property. Read the reviews prior to booking was helpful , the reviews said sketchy neighborhood. Which the properties are close to one another. Coming in at 2 am the neighborhood was quiet , no issues noted. Felt safe . Not sketchy at all just a quiet tiny town with impeccable use of their space/land. Thank you for allowing our family to create Airman family memories

Quaint House

This was our third trip to San Antonio, our first near the downtown area. The check in instructions were very easy and we had no problems locating the box with the key. The neighborhood is very sketchy, but with the gate it made things feel more safe. The house for the most part was clean. A very well stocked kitchen if you like to cook. There were plenty of towels and soap/shampoo were also provided. However, there were feral cats on the property and someone had left food out for them on the property. Unfortunately one of the cats either ingested something or was hit and we found the cat dead on the patio after returning from our day. There was dried blood in various places and no hose to clean the area. I emailed the property manager, no response so I called. Someone showed up and removed the cat but didn’t send someone to clean up. Other than the unfortunate event we enjoyed our stay.

We loved this home!

My family visited San Antonio for my son’s graduation from BMT at Lackland AFB. We have never used VRBO and for our first experience, it was a great one! When you first turn into the neighborhood you feel a little leery as it’s run down and doesn’t seem like a very great area; that said, we pulled into the driveway of the house, located the key and found that we could close a solid wood gate and block the home and yard off from the road. The house is set back from the road and the pool is right up front. It’s extremely private and once in the property, there is little to no view of any of the houses around it. The house was wonderful! Very clean and comfortable and we all absolutely loved the pool and spa! We spent most of our time out on the covered/shaded patio enjoying the pool. The location was so convenient and close to the airport, downtown San Antonio and the Air Force base - no more than 20 minutes from anywhere we went. We loved this property and would definitely stay again anytime we visit San Antonio!

Wonderful

The property was close to everything we wanted to do. Short trip from the airport. The neighborhood isn't bad. Having the gate at the driveway made it feel very safe. We enjoyed what we called "Porch Pets" , we had cats that would come and hang out with us by the pool and patio. The house was very clean and the rooms were great. It was supposed to be 4 of us but things happened and ended up being only 2. Perfect room for 2 people, the couch would have been very crowed if there would have been 4 of us. It was nice that we each had our own bathroom. Everything was set up great and was so easy to check in. Would definately stay here again if back in San Antonio.
