Mansfield en el Manning es un refugio rural con encanto a sólo 3 horas al norte de Sydney. Ubicado en 16 acres a orillas del río Manning, este tranquilo complejo cuenta con 4 propiedades independientes para parejas, familias y grupos pequeños.

Esta casa de 3 dormitorios tiene 2 dormitorios con cama grande, 1 con baño y otra habitación con 2 camas individuales y literas, por lo que es ideal para niños. Además del baño privado, hay un baño adicional y aseo separado.

Hay un amplio y espacioso salón abierto (con estufa de leña) y un comedor y una cocina muy bien equipada con nevera / congelador, horno Smeg, microondas, lavavajillas, hervidor de agua, tostadora, cafetera Nespresso, utensilios de cocina de calidad, vajilla, cubiertos, vajilla y vasos. Hay calefacción / aire acondicionado de ciclo inverso.

Se proporcionan ropa de cama y toallas y hay artículos de aseo orgánicos en ambos baños.
Hay una gran pantalla plana de TV / DVD, radio, wifi gratuito, muchos libros, juegos y DVD para niños y adultos.

La cabaña tiene una gran terraza con más asientos al aire libre, comedor exterior y una barbacoa Weber. La cabaña también tiene su propio fogón para disfrutar de puestas de sol y malvaviscos tostados.

Le proporcionamos un paquete de bienvenida para su llegada, con pan casero, galletas y conservas, huevos de nuestro chooks de corral, leche y mantequilla, y hay una buena selección de tés y cafés en la cabaña.

Hay acceso directo al río, para nadar, pescar y practicar kayak, y las propiedades se encuentran en más de 16 acres y cada una es totalmente privada.

También hay 2 cabañas con vistas al río con habitaciones con baño tamaño Queen y 2 camas individuales en el desván, totalmente equipadas con todo lo que necesita para un descanso de fin de semana, ¡o más! Cada cabina también tiene aire acondicionado y wifi gratuito. Cada cabina está muy bien decorado y cuenta con ropa de calidad y toallas, artículos de tocador orgánicos y un toque personal a lo largo.

También hay un 1978 American Airstream tiene fantásticas vistas del río y es el lugar perfecto para los viajeros wannabe! Completamente reformado para ofrecer un alojamiento de lujo, la corriente de aire tiene dormitorios 1 Queen, ducha, aseo, cocina totalmente equipada y un sofá cama plegable doble, aire acondicionado y wifi gratuito. Perfecto para descansar en las sillas de la hamaca y de la cubierta.

Este es el lugar perfecto para reuniones de grupos grandes, con capacidad para hasta 22 en las 4 propiedades.

Neil, un chef calificado con experiencia en Ottelenghi de, Kensington Place y Fishworks en Londres, puede proporcionar Cena directamente a su puerta - un menú de temporada con productos locales está disponible para todos los huéspedes. Excellent place to stay

Had a great time at this lovely property. The 3br cottage was magnificent. We has access to kayaks to use on the river. We had a dip in the gorgeous pool. We used some of the goodies grown in the garden and fresh Edda from the chooks. Lovely property and lovely owners at the property

Family Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night family get away at Wattle Cottage. Three generations, four adults, two 10 year olds and two family dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone. The large back deck area was a day time favourite. The location and setting is perfect for winding down and relaxing. There are plenty of spaces and activities to explore - the pool and table tennis areas were favourites. Thanks Suzie and Neil.

Transported to paradise!

An amazing property, with an exceptional view from poolside. Suzie was amazing to chat with and we shared quite a few laughs. The pool was beautiful! We stayed in the cottage and it was marvellous, kitchen is well stocked with utensils to make cooking family dinner so easy. They also hold weddings which shown where they have the ceremony on the property would be stunning :)

In the moment on the Manning...

I think our two city schnauzers have just had the holiday of a lifetime! It was lovely to be able to enjoy the beautiful park like surrounds of this rustic property and roam on the slopes that rolled down to the lagoon and the Manning River. And to enjoy it with our very welcome dogs was the icing on the cake. The owners, Suzy and Neil, made us all feel very at home. We stayed in the cottage but virtually lived on the massive deck, well protected from the occasional downpour. Now back in Sydney feeling totally replenished and looking forward to a trip back in winter.

Tranquil rural escape

Beautiful property surrounded by lush greenery close to number of fantastic mountain biking tracks. Definitely will be back, there is so much more to explore in this amazing part of the world.

The perfect place to relax

Really enjoyed the stay at the Mansfield on Manning cottage. Just a great place to unwind and relax. Swimming, fishing, kayaking,fire pit, mountain biking, chickens, Neil’s cooking all fantastic. My wife and two boys (12,9) loved it all and will come again

This place is beautiful. They have thought of everything you could possibly need. We have never had such a well equipped kitchen in a holiday house ! From the moment you arrive to find freshly made bread and other home made delights and eggs from their chickens you feel on holiday. The kids loved the mountain bike tracks and kayaks as well as relaxing in the pool. So great to find a dog friendly place that’s still special in other ways. We hope to go back again, I have no hesitation recommending this place.

Excellent pet friendly property

Neil and Jane have a beautiful property which we will certainly return to. We stayed in one of the cabins with our fur baby who was allowed up on the couch and on the bed just like home. The cabin is incredibly comfortable with a compact but fully functional kitchen, beautiful bedroom and bathroom with quality linen, fixtures and fittings. We had a beautiful meal delivered to our cabin. Fresh eggs and delicious home made lime butter in the fridge, freshly baked bread and Anzac cookies. And then you get to wake up to a gorgeous view of the Manning River and beyond. Highly recommend.

Can't wait to return!

Jane and Neil have created a most special retreat for families or couples. We were fortunate to enjoy a cabin which was elegantly appointed (think rustic country cabin on the outside with London-chic interior!) and extremely comfortable. Our 10 yr son loved the loft room! We arrived on Friday afternoon to a plate of freshly made (divine) scones on our deck before strolling up to the main house for a beautiful seafood feast prepared by our hosts. After a wonderful night's sleep, we awoke to a symphony of bush birds, then enjoyed homemade bread, passionfruit butter and the freshest farm eggs. My son loved being free-range on the property and exploring, but the kayaking on the Manning River and roasting giant marshmallows (supplied by our hosts) was definitely a highlight, as was the swim in the stunning infinity pool after a hot day. Our hosts prepared a gourmet bbq alfresco dinner for us on our 2nd night, complete with delicious salad accompaniments and a classic pavlova for a large party of friends who were able to join us. We didn't want to leave! It sounds like all we did was eat, but that's not true ... we also read a few of the fabulous books which were stacked next to the bedside table :) Thank you Jane and Neil for spoiling us and providing the ultimate country escape for our family and friends. We miss Mansfield on the Manning very much and can't wait to return!

A gem!

The cabin was a quality fit out with everything we needed. The host/chef was a great host and wonderful chef. To have such fine food almost at call was a great plus and enabled us to do nothing but relax. Our dog had space galore to run around. A lovely spot on the river that we would certainly return to.

Fantastic property

Beautifully furnished and cosy cabins in a peaceful rural setting. We had fresh milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread, honey and eggs on arrival. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, we would definitely stay there again.

Had an amazing time - wonderful hosts

We booked Mansfield on the Manning with friends for my husband's surprise 40th. The chalets were absolutely beautiful and everything had been thought of - from tea and coffee, to gorgeous linen and a bbq on the deck. The views were amazing and the hosts were lovely without being intrusive. On the Saturday night we had a fabulous meal for the birthday boy - all catered by the owner Neil - which included prawns, a spit-roasted pig and wonderful salads and bread. We are still holding our bellies! It was also fantastic that our dogs and children were made to feel so welcome. Add to that the fantastic location (on the river, close to the beach and the Kirrawak forest) and all round this was a great retreat for the weekend. We wish you the best of luck with your renovations and development of the property.

Neil and I moved to Australia in 2014 - direct from Hackney in London - to tranquil Tinonee just outside Taree. Neil is a Chef and I am a Marketer and Designer. Neil and I always dreamed of running a boutique retreat - in a stunning and relaxing location, offering excellent customer service and gorgeous food. When we found Mansfield on the Manning we knew it was 'the one'!
We spent the first 9 months completely refurbishing the 3 existing properties and adding our fantastic American Airstream. We've turned the rough and ready paddocks into beautiful green, sloping lawns, added a veggie garden and lots of fruit trees, built a double-infinity edge pool - and love sharing this space with our guests.
We are passionate about customer service and our aim is to do everything we can to make sure every guest has a fantastic stay with happy memories.
Each property is uniquely designed to create a stylish home away from home and we've done our utmost to consider everything you would need for a relaxing stay.
We offer a Dine-in menu for all our guests with seasonal dishes all lovingly created by Neil and delivered direct to your door.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Mansfield on the Manning was originally built in the late 19th century for a Presbyterian minister - hence Manse! In 1992 the property and land was bought by a family to run as a rural retreat and they built 2 cabins and 1 cottage - using reclaimed local timbers and materials. As the property is not on town water, the properties received eco credentials that we maintain to this day.
The property has stunning views across the Manning River to the Lansdowne Escarpment and all our guests exclaim at how they feel their stress melt away as the catch sight of the view for the first time. This is a very peaceful property with tons of wildlife - we see koalas, kangaroos, iguanas and many, many species of birds.
Guests are welcome to explore the 16 acres, help themselves from our veggie garden, gather eggs from our free-range chooks and use the double-infinity edge pool. We've got a great library of books for all ages, plus indoor and outdoor games. We've got a boules pitch and a croquet lawn!
