Pierre Rénové Flower Barn

Fleur de pierre est une grange milieu des années 1800 qui a été transformé en un hébergement unique, confortable et luxueux un lit. Entièrement équipée, autonome et privé, il est situé au centre avec en quelques minutes de tout le meilleur que Hobart a à offrir. Ceci est la parfaite escapade romantique!

Fleur de pierre est situé sur la rue principale, au bout d'un chemin privé. Il est un beau, lumineux, multi-niveau logement qui harmonise parfaitement la richesse de son passé historique avec le confort de la vie moderne. Cette propriété unique a été transformé de façon créative et offre intimité et le confort.

L'espace à l'étage, est baigné de lumière naturelle et se trouve sous le plafond en pente originale. De la chambre magnifique avec son lit délicieusement confortable queen-size, intensifier dans la salle de bain ouverte avec une grande zone humide de douche, miroir placards, et magnifique vanité tout enveloppé dans la chaleur du bois et de la pierre. Échelle d'origine de l'ancienne grange sert maintenant comme un porte-serviettes unique! Les infrastructures de clients sont fournis.

En bas, il ya un plan ouvert salon idéal pour se détendre avec un bon livre ou pour regarder un film à partir de la collection de DVD éclectique fourni. Et le meilleur de mobilier contemporain australien est à votre disposition. Entrez dans le entièrement équipée, cuisine gastronomique et cuire jusqu'à une tempête. Délices culinaires sont disponibles auprès de plusieurs épiciers idéalement situé, y compris le bien-aimé Hill St Grocer, Salamanque frais, Wursthaus cuisine, marché de Salamanca (le samedi) ainsi que les supermarchés normaux. La table à manger sur mesure a été recyclé à partir de poutres laissés par la rénovation et les sièges quatre personnes.

Il est sous le plancher chauffant chauffe à la fois haut et en bas et un panneau dans la chambre à coucher et salon. Il y a aussi un petit espace extérieur et un parking pour une voiture.

A great example place for a weekend away

A place to spend 5 days. Great central location for exploring Hobart and surrounding areas (note if you are walking the property is situated on a very steep hill). The accommodation is warm and inviting. Felt totally at home - towels, linen, furniture, crockery are all of a high standard. Kitchen was well planned, contained good quality appliances and met all of our needs. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are stunning with an open plan layout, making it feel extremely spacious - just aware the toilet while in a separate space is also open plan. A beautiful place to spend a weekend.

Delightful architectural barn renovation with everything you could need. Beautifully presented and a wonderful base for a stay in Hobart. Walking distance to the centre of town through some interesting old neighbourhoods. Will definitely be back.

Great getaway close to the Hobart CBD

Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stone Flower, a beautifully constructed building easily maintainable for a couple with all of the amenities required to both stay in and cook or come back to after a night out. An ideal location in the west of Hobart with only a 20 min walk to the likes of the Salamanca market and beautiful pier. Likewise, it is only a 10-15 min walk to the CBD. The property manager was an absolute delight to communicate with and provided great recommendations for our stay. If you are staying in Hobart for an extended period or just a weekend away I cannot recommend this property any higher as it was just delightful.

Architecturally splendid hideaway in pretty neighbourhood

We loved Stone Flower Barn! If you are even remotely interested in architecture you’ll appreciate the beauty of the material and the clever interiors of the barn, including a view of the harbour from the shower and the natural light pouring in everywhere. Very generous breakfast provisions were waiting for us on arrival and the bed is absolutely plush - I didn’t want to get out of it. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little home

Wow, what a lovely little gem we found. Not far to walk to the city and docks and the place has been beautifully renovated. The house is also spotlessly clean which is a big thing for me! The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The only thing to mention (and the owner did mention when we booked but I didn't realise to what extent). The driveway you have to drive down to get to the house which is at the back is VERY narrow. The owner did let us know so I made sure I booked a small rental car but that was even hard to get in and out so make sure you get the smallest car available as at the moment you can't park on the road. Other than that this is a beautiful home so thank you :-)

Great blend of old and new

Really loved this contemporary barn conversion. Loved the location that offered great views across Hobart. Beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishings that gives a cosy feel. Clean and quiet residence within walking distance of Hobart and Salamanca ( about 20 minutes), that exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful couple's accommodation

We had a nice weekend in Hobart staying at this fancy renovated barn. Great character to the accommodation and made to feel at home with breakfast supplies. Only critique is that car access is narrow and not suitable for anything but a small sedan and all surrounding streets have parking restrictions.

My husband and I love old buildings. We love to transform an old unloved place into unique and comfortable spaces. We love the creative challenge of fulfilling a vision, bringing it into reality.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

When we first saw the front house for sale we were drawn to this property not by the house but by what lay behind it; an old, convict built, neglected barn. We both knew that this could be transformed into something special.
It took several years before we found the finances and the right team to do the job. In 2009 the transformation began. It took 8 month to complete.
For 3 years the place was rented on a permanent basis. In 2014 we furnished and fitted out the Barn for short term accommodation, and thus Stone Flower was born .
In 201, ten years after creating this unique space we have added an outdoor courtyard, that complements and completes Stone Flower.

Stone flower is private and totally unique. There is no other property that compares. It is close to the city and yet far enough to be peaceful. All that Hobart has to offer is at your finger tips. This is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or as a home base for day trips to the surrounding area.
