A house on the Beach

Absolute uninterrupted views over the beautiful Simms cove all the way to Moonta Bay. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen, dinning, lounge, with large well equipped laundry, with water efficient Bosch washing machine and energy efficient dryer. There is also a powder room downstairs with the 3rd WC. A well appointed kitchen has dishwasher, oven, microwave, plenty of storage and large walk in pantry. All the cooking implements you may need. Plenty of electrical appliances (slow cookers, sandwich press, electric fry pan, etc) so you can cook up a storm if you wish. The dining room has custom made beech wood and leather seating for 6 with a beautiful crackle topped table from Italy. The lounge 7 seat leather lounge. Music station with CD and Ipod access. Walk straight out of the lounge room sliding doors to the yard where you have direct access to the beach via private stairs to the beach or just grab a chair and sit and relax with one of the best views in Moonta Bay.
The property also has a safety and security cameras front and back.
Upstairs you will find a full size billiard table, Music station (IPOD and CD's), Table and Chairs. Step out onto the balcony for a drink and relax to a view to die for. The master bedroom has LED TV with built in DVD plenty of storage, bedside lights and clock/Radio.
Master leads into 2 built in robes with large hanging and storage. Then step into the ensuite with large 2 person spa, large shower, IXL Tastic, WC and large vanity complete with non slip bath mats and hairdryer. Shampoo and conditioner along with shower gel and body sponge are complimentary along with lovely soft towels. If your booking is for more than one couple then along the hall you will find the second bedroom with bedside lamps, clock radio and tall boy for storage. This bedroom also has a bathroom with standard bath large shower and separate WC shampoo etc is also complimentary in this bathroom. There is a built in cupboard in the hall that provides additional towels, blankets, throw rugs and pillows. All linen and towels are supplied with no extra charge. If you require more rooms please send an email with your requirements all rooms are locked unless booked and paid for. Please note we supply bbq and gas bottle but we do not refill bottles can be swapped at the moonta hardware store. Also note there is no wifi at the property. Please note the garage is not accessible during your stay. Long weekends minimum 3 night booking. Moonta and surrounding areas

Moonta - Moonta Bay
If you prefer not to cook Moonta has some wonderful restaurants and Takeaway foods you can get Pizza/Pasta eat in the restaurant or take away, Seafood in the 2 restaurants in Moonta Bay with great views to the water, 2 Hotels with good pub food. Bakeries will serve you Moonta's world famous Cornish pasties and a delicious range of pies and cakes. The is a gelataria that sells home made ice cream and sorbets etc - you have to try these to appreciate how yummy they are. Moonta also has a large Foodland, Sportswear shop, newsagency, cafe's, dress shops, hardware store and antique stores to name a few. You also have access to 2 petrol stations and 2 hardware stores. Most weekends you will find some great garage sales and on some week ends you can go along to a local market in the park or the Moonta historic railway station.

Pt Hughes has the Greg Norman inspired Dunes golf course, Deli with bait and fishing equipment and supplies and a good breakfast is served also. There is also a restaurant that serves a wide range of food you are sure to find something to suit your tastes. There is also a boat ramp and reef access.

Kadina is 14 kms from Moonta and has a large shopping precinct including a Woolworths and BWS, banks and a large Cheap As Chips. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. Museums, petrol stations, Subway, McDonalds and a Target. On the weekends you can usually find garage sales and one Saturday in the month you will find a market at the Kadina museum.

Maitland is approx. 35km from Moonta Bay and is a smaller town with bakery, IGA and the wonderful Yorke Valley Hotel for a meal.

Minlaton is past Maitland and has a few second hand shops

Wallaroo is 14 kms from Moonta and 4 kms from Kadina in Wallaroo you will find Lovely restaurants and some great pubs that serve food everyday. You will also find museums
and swimming area off the Jetty.

Distance and Beaches

Moonta Bay and surrounding areas are only 1 hour and 10 mins on average from Adelaide on a pretty straight run. The beaches are sandy white and perfect for long romantic walks or if fitness is your thing nothing better that an uninterrupted run on the beach. Walk bare feet for a natural pumice. The evenings are also a lovely time for a long stroll from your back door to Moonta Bay for a meal , snack or a just a good old fashioned ice cream by the sea.

On the side table you will find a set of books with menus, attractions with maps and directions.
