We are located just a few minutes from the main township of Kenilworth and sit deep amongst the trees and forest on a private 31acre property where you will be able to unwind in complete privacy.
Smell the fresh country air.
There is bakery close by, where you can try there well known donuts,A pizza shop, bottle shop, pub, news agency, garage ,convenience store and a local information office all in the main street Just a few minutes away
The local area has so much to offer.

So peaceful. A great place out to get away from the hustle and bustle. Close enough to townships that you can easily go for outings or resupply and far enough from the road that you cant even hear local traffic from the property.

Relaxing getaway

This is, like others have said, an amazing property. The host greeted us and then left us to enjoy the property. The host has thought of almost everything so that his guest's stay is hassle-free. The location is excellent for relaxation and rejuvenation, but close to Kenilworth and regional centres such as Nambour. The access road is a little choppy due to the huge amounts of rain, but the host is trying to get a contractor to rebuild this and it's natural that this is difficult at the moment. If I had to give criticism I'd say that I'd recommend buying a bigger TV and a soundbar/sub system (a cheap one would be much better than the TV speakers) and a shelf for the shower (to hold shampoo etc). But these are really pedantic, and didn't really impact our enjoyment of the property.

Perfect little getaway! Highly recommend Oakey Creek Retreat!

If you want peace, seclusion, and the beautiful sounds of bird life this is the place to come, and it’s so neat and tidy! Far away enough to be away from it all but close enough to towns with plenty to see and do all around! It’s ideal for both a quick or long stay. 3 days was great but we didn’t want to leave! The hosts are so friendly and welcoming with great communication and the cabin is tucked so far away in the bush that you wouldn’t even know anyone else was around. Thank you for the Tim Tams, it was such a thoughtful extra touch that made our 20th wedding anniversary that little bit more special. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for everything Gav! We had a ball!!

Relaxing Short Break

Awesome spot for some Rest and Relaxation!! Clean and tidy cabin. Great central location to the peaceful little hinterland townships, and old fashioned country hospitality. Also, Eumundi Markets and Sunshine coast beaches all within close proximity. Gavin ( host ) very welcoming.
