この美しいナンタケット風のコテージは、サーフィンに最も人気のあるビーチ、イーストビーチから歩いてすぐの海の森に位置しています。 また、ショールズクラブ、ザコモンズパーク、ボールドヘッドアイランドコンサーバンシー、何マイルもの自転車、ハイキング、ウォーキングトレイルへも歩いてすぐです（さらに短いゴルフカートに乗っています）。

新鮮な塩の空気と遠くのなだめるような波の音が聞こえる2つのポーチと木で覆われたパティオは、読書、ワインを飲み、料理をし、朝のコーヒーを飲み、家族とリラックスするのに最適な背景を提供します。 フロントポーチは、古代のオーク、スペインの苔、コミュニティガゼボのある遊歩道に直接アクセスします。 屋外デッキにはガスグリルと快適な座席が装備されています。 屋外での食事は、デッキに隣接するスクリーン付きのポーチでご利用いただけます。

This property was wonderful for our family getaway. 5 min from East Beach and located in a lovely neighborhood on the island. We enjoyed the gold carts, the bikes, and the comfortable beds. Catherine our host was extremely accommodating and kind and she has extremely quick response times. This was our second time on the island so we understood the ferry/tram schedule but she was so kind to provide any other information as needed. We were pleased with the holiday activities that were offered over the Thanksgiving weekend. We would gladly stay here again! It’s is becoming our “happy place” too!

The cottage was cute and cozy and clean! The setting in the woods was very charming. We had our coffee each morning on the screen porch and were entertained by the squirrels chasing each other around. Location was excellent. Added bonus, the king bed was so comfortable! Host was awesome and very helpful. 100% recommend.

My husband and I stayed at Gaga’s Gift to unwind after beach week with ALL of the family in another spot the week before. The house, and the Surfman’s Walk community were quiet and peaceful. House was well-stocked and the bed was comfortable. The pictures are accurate. Catherine was great to work with—she got back with me quickly whenever I had any questions. We love the East Beach location and recommend the Shoals Club membership for easy access to the beach and its others amenities.

Excellent stay, very comfortable place (beds, couches, hanging couch on the back porch, etc.) with decorations that are on point. Very clean and having a washer/dryer proved very convenient along with a well equipped kitchen. Catherine & Brian were excellent hosts and made everything seamless. We enjoyed the provided bikes and having 2 golf carts was perfect for our family. We have stayed at many different places on BHI and will certainly come back to this place.

BHI vacation

Our family of 4 loved the week at this Bald Head Island property. Friendly host and easy check-in made us feel welcome. Perfect location in our favorite neighborhood of Surfman’s Walk, as well as functional kitchen, comfortable living room, clean bedrooms/bathrooms, and two golf carts. Hope to stay here again next year!

Wonderful vacation home!

Gaga's Gift was exactly what we needed and as advertised. The house is lovely and comfortable and has the best-equipped and stocked kitchen I've ever had on BHI. The owner was attentive and communicative about everything. We loved our time in her house.

Great weekend away!

We had a wonderful stay here in early May! The house is in the perfect spot to be close to some great beaches and it is an adorable location that feels like a private oasis. We enjoyed the amenities provided which include bikes and golf karts and communication with the hosts was seamless. They were so kind to offer a late check out on our last day so we could enjoy our time a little longer! We will be coming back!

Perfect vacation at GaGa's Gift

Our family had the perfect BHI vacation at this beautiful cottage. Catherine was an attentive and kind host. Her cottage was beautifully decorated, both inside and outside, with great amenities, all set in the lush Cape Fear Station neighborhood. The furniture and bedding were very comfortable, and the house was clean. One morning a large buck walked right up to the screened in porch as we drank our coffee while swinging on the comfy back porch bed swing. She provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, etc. which greatly helped in not having to bring all that over on the ferry. I highly recommend this lovely piece of paradise for a BHI vacation.

Wonderful home and hosts

Catherine and her husband were wonderful and generous hosts. They left us a bottle of wine when we arrived and were super nice when we got a flat tire on one of the golf carts. They were incredibly responsive and kind. And the home itself was clean, cozy, and lovely. Highly recommend and I would re-book here! My one minor note is that several of the lights didn't work, e.g. the bench light switch didn't work, and several of the lamps. I would *strongly* recommend using the soft white light bulbs and not the harsh white daylight light bulbs that were used in some places, the inconsistency in light color impacted the overall warm feel of the house.

Wonderful house at Surfman's Walk. Kitchen is well appointed, living room is very comfortable, and there are beach chairs to take down to East Beach - what else do you need? A great week at BHI.

Wonderful Stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ga-GA’s Gift. The house is very comfortable and has a great set up. There was a fun assortment of games that my kids enjoyed playing. Kitchen is well appointed. Beds are cozy. We love the location and being near East Beach and the Shoals Club. We would rent here again for sure!

Wonderful 2 weeks in BHI

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Gaga’s gift. We stayed with our family of 4 (two teens) and my parents. We loved the location and the property. It is close to Shoal’s, Mike’s Bites and East beach. The home was well appointed for cooking, which was great for us! We loved to spend time swinging on the back porch. It is also so helpful that there were two reliable carts, AND working bikes! We would totally stay again, and we are grateful that Catherine shared her home with us!

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!

I was there with my "adopted family" as a present for "my Daughter" graduating from high school. It was a fantastic location (even though there were other houses close by) it felt like we were in the woods all by ourselves. The house felt like home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you can imagine for cooking meals. Never saw such a well stocked kitchen (and panty). Loved how the light switches were labeled. The entire property was well stocked with EVERYTHING we needed-all kinds of things in the garage to make our vacation as wonderful as possible. Catherine was such a gracious hostess-from the time I made reservations, then from the day we arrived until we arrived home. She was always just a text or phone call away if we had any questions or concerns. Having 2 golf carts was so handy. I cannot say "WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE" enough. There is no other place on the island that I had rather stay. This was my 2nd trip to BHI but the place we stayed before was not as wonderful, and the owner never would return calls when we had issues. THANK YOU Catherine for being you!!!!

Our First Visit to BHI

We had a great time, and the property was clean and well-maintained. It provided bicycles and two great golf carts, and it was well-stocked with beach paraphernalia. We shared the house with our daughter and son-in-law and our two grandchildren. The house was perfect for our daughter and family, and the crofter was perfect for us. BHI and the property were the most relaxing beach experiences we've ever had. We highly recommend this property.

Very cozy house. Clear instructions. Loved the separate crofter. Kid friendly - our two yr old did great in the space. Only a couple minutes away from south beach. Great internet service everywhere on the property and smart TVs in every room. It is tightly packed next some adjacent properties back in the woods but we expected that. Would recommend highly!

Fall memories at the beach

We had a wonderful week here! From the initial booking, Catherine the Host kept us on track for our Bald Head vacation by affirming that we had our ferry/tram tickets ordered to answering questions that popped up before our arrival. This place was perfect for us (myself, my husband our son, his wife and their 1 year old daughter). My husband and I stayed in the crofter and slept like babies. It’s completely separate from the house, but only a few steps away. The separation made it so nice because baby girl woke up earlier than we did, but any noise in the main house didn’t wake us up at all. Highly recommend the separate sleeping options that this place provides. It was truly a home away from home place to stay and had everything we needed and I can’t think of anything it didn’t have. Our son left his fishing rod in the garage by mistake, so I guess we’ll just need to schedule another trip back to retrieve it. As if we need an excuse 😜.

Forest haven

Catherine’s home was the perfect spot for a family vacation with 2 toddlers. Close enough to the most beautiful beach on the island to run back when we forgot something, or to take the bikes instead of a golf cart. Located in the thick jungle-like maritime forest, offering shade and peace in between beach trips. The back entrance of the house leads out onto a maze of boardwalk paths through the forest. Everything in the house worked as described, and Catherine generously arranged (and paid for) extra rental bikes for us when hers went missing. The house is well-equipped with games, beach toys, boogie boards, etc… We did not end up using the crofter, but fit 2 families of 3 comfortably in the main house. The turtle conservancy headquarters is around the corner- there is a sandwich and Italian ice window there. The shoals club down the street offers several dining options, 2 pools, and beach umbrella/chair service. Catherine was very responsive and helpful with the reservation and any issues that came up during our visit. Highly recommend - hope to be back in paradise soon!

Lovely cottage tucked away in the woods.

This cottage was perfect for us! Cozy and quiet, but near enough to the beaches and club that it didn't feel remote. Everything was as described. I especially loved the daybed swing on the porch!

I live in North Carolina. I am a native North Carolinian. I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I am married to a great guy who happens to be my best friend. I have been fortunate to travel a lot, but BHI is truly my family’s ‘happy place.’ My mother was a consummate caregiver and she treated our family to many memorable vacations on BHI. She loved the island and loved sharing it with us. When we were with her, she thought of every detail to make us comfortable. Sadly, my mother, aka "Gaga," died unexpectedly in 2019. My father and I decided to honor her by purchasing this house and naming it after her—‘Gaga’s Gift.’ Our family feels closer to my mother on the island because we shared many good times with her there. She loved the bountiful natural beauty of the outdoors on BHI. She loved big family meals, walking on the beach, basking in the sun and reading on the porch. We will honor my mother by continuing the beautiful family traditions she started for us at Bald Head. We will honor her by sharing ‘Gaga’s gift’ with our VRBO guests and taking good care of them, just like Gaga would.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Our family has been visiting BHI for many years. We fell in love with the island on our first visit. Over the years, we have stayed in a variety of homes on different parts of the island, but we like the location of this property due to it’s proximity to East Beach and Shoals Club. I can walk to East Beach in two minutes! We also love that the house is nestled in the maritime forest. It has a tree house vibe, surrounded by the shade of twisted tree branches and palms, yet we can hear the ocean waves. The house provides lots of privacy because each bedroom has it’s own bathroom. There are also 2 porches and a deck to provide additional living areas for families and friends to spread out and relax. For even more privacy, there’s the detached bedroom over the garage (in BHI these are known as crofters). Since the crofter is detached from the house, it’s a favorite for guests who have different sleeping schedules or want even more privacy. My father goes to bed earlier than the rest of our family, so he loves sleeping in the crofter.
