First, ALOHA! Second, thank you for looking at my oceanfront condo. Third, let me share with you my opinion about what makes this condo the best place to stay in Honolulu/Waikiki, and we’ll see if it sounds like a good match for your wishlist, too.

Here’s what you can DEFINITELY do here without having to go further than you can walk:

1. Hang out on Waikiki Beach and explore Honolulu. We are on the south end (the GOOD end) of Waikiki Beach.

2. Share a real home with up to 5 of the people you cherish most for some quality YOU time,

3. Shop for fresh tropical produce at one of the many farmer’s markets that pop up almost daily, then,

4. Explore ways to prepare it together in a fully-stocked, complete kitchen,

5. Savor your culinary masterpieces (I assume) on an uncrowded lawn, picnic-style, while watching the waves of the Pacific roll and crash in front of you as the sun sets on the virtually unobstructed horizon,

6. Wake each morning and walk no further than your backyard to jump into the warm, turquoise Pacific to snorkel with turtles and reef fish, or,

7. Paddle out to a hot surf spot on your stand-up paddle or surfboard,

8. Marvel at the height achieved by a breaching humpback whale on its seasonal migration past your balcony where you brew and sip fresh Kona coffee,

9. Cross the street to play on the huge lawns of Kapiolani Park, or,

10. Do yoga under a 100-year-old banyan tree as the sun rises over Diamond Head Crater,

11. Stroll daily through Waikiki and its virtually endless list of shops, local restaurants, bus/boat/open-water adventure tours, luaus, hula shows, photo-ops, lifeguarded swimming areas for children, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, shave ice, ABC stores, tiki torches, mai tais, and more golden beach bodies than you can shake a stick at,

12. Always be within stumbling distance of your quiet, neighborhood-feel, home-away-from-home where you can,

13. Fall asleep nightly to nothing but the sounds of ocean waves (or the cool of an air-conditioned room.)

THAT I can give you 100%!

(Well, 99.9%, if you come during the whale migration and bring (or rent) your own ocean toys, but still…if these are the memories you’re looking to carry with you for the rest of your life, then this condo will be a great fit.)

In short, it’s essentially being in Waikiki but without the city noise, being oceanfront without the limitations of a hotel, and bonus, you get to experience the main reason people return to Hawaii year after year (even if this is your first trip): stepping back in time a bit to a simpler way of tropical island living but not so far back that you can’t connect to wifi when YOU want it.

-Free street parking along Kalakaua Avenue.

-Metered on the Kapiolani Park side, please read all signs carefully. Metered parking is $0.50 per hour from 10am to 6pm. Metered parking is free from 6pm to 10am. Parking is always tight during parades, festivals, and events at Kapiolani Park. Please be aware and plan accordingly.

With many local amenities all within an easy walk (ex. tennis courts, the Waikiki Aquarium, beautiful restaurants, and the Honolulu Zoo), our suites are all privately owned and under the professional management of Hawaii Americana Realty. Notes:
Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the oceanfront during the day past the aquarium, local park. tennis courts and Honolulu Zoo. Grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. Then maybe an afternoon hike up the Diamond Head Crater? With so much to do in the area, you'll never run out of ideas. If you wish to explore further, our front desk staff are on hand to give suggestions of 'must sees' while staying here on Oahu.

Great views and location

Large, modern apartment with huge lanai and direct views of the ocean. Close to everything but away from any street noise. Only 5 minut walk to San Souci beach and 15 minutes to Waikiki beaches. Easy access to public transport. You can shop at Whole Foods in less than 15 minutes by taking the bus or uber.

The highlights of this property are the ocean front lanai and ocean accessibility.

We really enjoyed the sunsets from the lanai and being able to surf right out in front of the condo. Being walking distance from all the shops and restaurants in Waikiki was very convenient. Our only criticism was we were not provided with enough dish towels, towels and toilet paper for our unit.

Great location; very comfortable; beautiful connection to the ocean!

My favorite features of this condo are: breakfast/coffee overlooking the ocean; very quiet location -- away from Waikiki's traffic -- within walking distance of a few good eateries; within walking distance of a couple of good beaches; great location for walking around Diamond Head and in Kapiolani Park; nice open kitchen/dining/living rooms; extra roomy shower; AC in each bedroom made for comfy sleeping.

wonderful location

this location cannot be beat!!

and great view from the small window and wrap around porch.

the only reason i gave 3 stars is because the condo was dirty. we were there with my 3 little kids and the floors were super sicky, they could use some major attention as well as the windows. i real good spring deep clean!!! i think the place would be great if it was updated with some furniture, used some bigger area rugs, and been cleaner.

Great location.

This place was great. Location awesome, though I wouldn't recommend to 1st time visitors to Waikiki. This trip was our 20 something time so we are over the busyness of of downtown. We enjoyed the view sitting on the balcony and lazing on the grassy deck chairs. Sliding down the steps straight into the water out front. Our adult children and partners surfed straight out the front as we had our own boards. It is a 10-15 walk into Waikiki shops but the walk along the front of diamond head is just as close. We used the back street cafes and restaurants as we could park the car at the apartment. It had everything we needed and Dave (hotel manager) was awesome meeting us and giving us advice and help with the apartment. Can't wait till next time.

Fantastic!

This place was perfect for our stay! I could sit on that lanai for weeks and gaze at the ocean, read a book, have coffee/a glass (or two!) of wine. It's dreamy! The condo is well equipped, comfortable and spacious, and very reasonable for an oceanfront unit! The location is great -- just close enough to Waikiki for if/when you want to enter the fray, but far enough away to be quiet, peaceful. And easy freeway access for when we wanted to venture to the North Shore and other parts of this beautiful island. It is walking distance to our daughter's house near the zoo, which worked out well for our whole family. We've stayed in many places on Oahu over the past five years while our daughter was attending UH, and this was by far the best -- we will be back for sure!

Slightly east, Kapiolani Park. Slightly north and you're on Waikiki Beach. And slightly west, you're in the warm tropical waters of the Pacific. Competing in the Honolulu Marathon or the Tinman Triathlon? The finish line is right across the street in Kapiolani Park. How convenient is that?

Non-sports fans: This ocean-facing condo is located at the base of Hawaii's most recognized landmark, Diamond Head Crater, near the Waikiki Aquarium, across from Kapiolani Park, on the beautiful Pacific Ocean, and within walking distance of Waikiki and its attractions. Residents refer to this tiny strip of historic towers as Honolulu’s “Gold Coast” for good reason.
