Family catch up

House was beautiful and big. Views were stunning. Driveway from hell . Trampoline is a long way from house (and loads of steps ) so not that easily accessible for little people. Would not recommend for families with kids under 5

Great Holiday House

We had a wonderful stay at Azure, North Avoca. The house is light, bright and modern, has fabulous views of the beach and sits up on the hill giving the benefit of a sea breeze. The house has lots of different zones if you want to have your own space. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and the bathrooms are clean and modern. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need; however it would benefit with a coffee machine! There is a short easy walk down to the beach where there are life guards on duty. The pool is a good temperature and captures the sun. We had a fantastic stay in Azure and would highly recommend it to friends. Sarah, London

Stunning property

Our family of 5 stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The house was luxurious and spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would ever need. The pool was heated which we were happy with. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to have a special stay in a stunning home.

Ideal Property for two families in perfect locatio

We recently visited Azure for the Easter 2017 long weekend with another family, Azure is a beautiful property within walking distance of the beach. The property is equipped with all the amenities required for a wonderful weekend away. The only downfall to the property was that there is no Wi-Fi included (even though the property did have a Foxtel Wi-Fi Hub) and the owners would not put the heating on in the pool and spa which meant the pool was freezing and our children aged ( 2,4,5,5) could not swim. When you are paying for a luxury property I think these features should be included and sadly the real-estate said the owners said it would be “too expensive to heat the pool” which we felt was an inadequate response when we paid for a property with a pool. Other than the issues with the pool and internet the home is really lovely and the owners take a lot of pride in the property. I think the Azure would be a great property to visit between the months of Dec- Feb, but If you wanted a luxury home with a pool outside of this time I would find something with heating or the owners should change the nightly rate to include heating the pool outside of these months.

Thank you Sara for choosing to stay at Azure, we welcome your feedback and are sorry you could not enjoy the pool as planned. We discussed the pool heating prior with your husband prior to check-in (and contacted owners for clarification). Unfortunately we learned - and passed on - that the pool is electrically heated and cannot maintain a heated temperature once the temperature drops below a certain point of an evening. This is why it is why we can only advertise pool heating for certain times of the year because the temperature/heating cannot be guaranteed. As for Wi-Fi internet, the owners have not opted to offer this service but will consider this option in future. We hope you choose to stay again in future.

Outstanding property

Family of eight adults and three children enjoyed a fabulous five days. The house is zoned perfectly allowing the four separate groups of the family to have their own private spaces. The kitchen was equipped with every conceivable appliance and gadgets a gourmet cook could wish for. A great BBQ area with sink and frig on the pool deck - plus a pizza oven All in all I can recommend this property for a luxurious family holiday Loved the wild life too!

Spectacular house but Useless property managers

To be quite frank the house itself was fantastic, great views very spacious and clean. However, the issue is with the Accom property managers at Avoca Beach. Prior to even staying at the residence i got the third degree about noise and cleanliness of the property, and asking about how many people were staying and constant harping of you cannot exceed how many people you have said on the booking, which i had no intention of exceeding because we only had 4 Couples coming and 2 children, but for some reason these people would not believe it. Not only did i feel like they were accusing me of already breaking the ridiculous rules they imposed it felt like they had no customer service. The funniest, actually the most ridiculous thing they said was that, i myself cannot pick the key up being a male and i would have to come with my partner. I am not even kidding about this. This should give you an indication of how they treat their customers. Then on the Saturday i received 7 missed calls about noise and music being too loud, but rather go through this whole process of them being useless at customer service i just let it go. The Azure Welcome pack states that you can have music on up till midnight (you can’t, because you will get an ear full the next morning) and we used the sound system that was in the house which isn’t loud, i know this because there was a 2-year-old sleeping just above where we were. Meanwhile this is in their designated outdoor BBQ entertainment area. Then on checkout we spent the whole morning cleaning the house because we all have investment properties, so we understand what it feels like to have a house be given back in a state of disarray. only to get a further bill and charges because, there was rubbish, get this, in the bin!! and clean dishes in the dishwasher which just needed to be put away as well as ornaments needing to be put back in place (we had 2 children there, so moved them out of the way so they wouldn't get broken) . My group of friends go away every year to really nice holiday houses, we have been doing since we were 27, we have stayed in places far more expensive and nicer than the Azure, but have never been treated the way we were by these property agents, if the owner of the premises reads this, do yourself a favor and get rid of those pelicans and get some property managers who know how to deal with customer. So overall, great house, great location, pity about the muppets managing it.

Anthony, Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We agree, Azure is a magnificent property and I’m sorry you felt your stay was tarnished by communications from our office staff, however complaints from surrounding neighbours in residential areas have to be taken seriously. We are sure you can understand, hence why we ensure all guests are aware of this when choosing to make a reservation. If complaints are made during a guest's stay it is our policy to make verbal contact with the guest, hence why the multiple missed calls were made as staff tried to reach you to discuss but our calls were not returned. As per your conversation with our Office Manager after check-out, the extra charges are due to excess cleaning and mess left behind. We did explain why the charges were warranted before charging an additional agreed-to amount. As a property owner yourself we hope you can accept that our policies are designed to maintain the property and respect our neighbours, owners and guests.
