Lovely Spot

We had a really relaxing stay at Ann's farm. The view of the paddocks, pond and bush, with various animals and birds was idyllic. Not to mention the stars at night.Comfy beds. Open plan bed arrangements. Great nearby walks. Separate lounge area with above mentioned view.

Wonderful farmstay at Ann's Chalet

Stayed 2 nights during a roadtrip from Sydney to Sunshine Coast QLD. Good location for a mini-break at the halfway point. Private house, comfortable beds, cozy 'home away from home'. Highlights: beautiful property, loved the large verandah with great views to the garden and dam; beach is walking distance 10-15mins; kids loved feeding the horses & ducks & chickens. We were lucky to see baby ducklings!Lovely to meet the host Ann, who's very friendly and accommodating.We truly enjoyed our stay -- thank you.

Lovely place to stay

Beautiful outlook from the chalet. Charming, comfortable and cosy. The horses were a highlight. And the fireplace. Ann was very welcoming and helpful. Great stay.

So peaceful

I had such a wonderful stay a this property. The Chalet is so beautiful and cosy. There was just me and my pet budgie, but plenty of room for several people with a great kitchen with everything you would need and lovely warm and comfortable bed. The fire was amazing , Ann delivering a basket of wood daily. The property is tucked away just off the main road but in a beautifully quiet spot only minutes drive from the closet towns if you need anything, a 30 minute drive to Bellingen and then Dorrigo for a lovely day trip. You can talk to the animals, or simply sit in the enclosed verandah looking at the ducks in the pond and read in the peaceful outlook. I hope to be back again one day and recommend this place as its good value, very clean, quiet and has a friendly host Ann. Thank you I really enjoyed my stay.

Friendly and lushness of greenary

Friendly nature of Anne and lovely horses, dogs, hens and ducks. Wonderful natural views were so relaxing. Kids really enjoyed their stay at the property.

Hidden gem in mid north coast

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Being ,surrounded by the tranquility, nature's charm, sounds of the nightlife- tree frogs, cicadas, a gecko or two, distant lighting show in the skies all within the comforts of the open plan chalet. The coastal breeze, distant sounds of wave and the occasional train makes it 9.9/10 place to be. A little wander and adventure down the fire trail and, mud brick home, railway track and onto another hidden gem - private lagoon and beach. Thank you Ann for being a lovely and wonderful host. Will definitely come again.

Relaxing and peaceful place to stay.

Clean, quiet, it was great place to stay. We enjoyed feeding horses, chickens, picking macademia nuts etc. You can enjoy the view of green field and horses from your big room window. Also you can purchase super fresh free range eggs here, if you want! It was great place to stay for holiday. We’ll be back!

Absolutely amazing weekend away!

The property was beautiful, waking up to that view for 2 mornings was amazing! The house itself was impeccable and the beach was so close! Our dogs loved it to and Ann was so accomodating for them! Can’t wait to come stay again! xx

What a wonderful place!

The property is amazing! Immaculately manicured, very comfortable and sizable. We only stayed for one night but it was great. Our pooch settled in very quickly. The animals there were very lovely. Place was clean and easy to locate. Host very friendly! We would love to come back if we are up that way again!

A Wonderful Place To Stay

The 5 star rating for this place is not sufficient, it deserves more than just 5 stars. The location of the property is ideal for both the bush lover and beach go'er. I stayed in The Chelet which I'd say is easiest the nicest place I've ever stayed in. Ann met me on arrival and showed me through this immaculately clean large place. The lovely quiet of the surrounds makes it all the more appealing to those that love to listen to the abundant birdlife particularly the songbirds. Sitting quietly looking out at Ann's two quiet baflinger horses is very relaxing. Twice a day my dog and I walked down the road through the beautiful eucalypts and across the shallow lagoon to Valla beach which was long and almost deserted but still good for a swim. The only problem I had there was having to leave. Thankyou Ann for providing such a beautiful, quiet and relaxing stay and yes, I will be back. Mitch Deacon

Lovely, peaceful setting.

The accommodation was very comfortable, the facilities were excellent but the living room space was the greatest feature. Open, peaceful and relaxing.
