Are you looking for accommodation close to The University of Queensland? This house is walking/cycling distance or 5 minute cab ride from the University. There is a bus stop around the corner- 300 metres from the house which takes you to the city, Southbank Parklands, or the University, the Pat Rafter International Tennis Centre.

Close by there are children's playgrounds, a dog park, cafes and restaurants, train station, bus stop, shops. The home is only 5 kms (4 train stops).to Southbank Parklands, cinemas, the City Centre and the Mater and Children's Hospitals.

It is a large 2 level home, with secure garage plus extra off street parking. Spacious open plan lounge, indoor dining and kitchen, open to large deck with city views and the most desirable northerly aspect for winter sun and summer breezes.

This spacious home offers 2 TV lounge areas, Netflix, DVD player and DVD library. High speed, unlimited Wifi broadband internet throughout the home.

The comforts of today's living have not been compromised. There is ducted air conditioning/heating throughout, as well as ceiling fans in each room. Smoke alarms. Netflix, and separate lounge with TV with DVDs.

Upstairs deck with city views,and Weber BBQ, and separate pool area downstairs allow for outside Queensland living all year round.

The home is an easy 2 minute walk to the bus or 10 minute walk to the train station. 4 stops to Southbank Parklands (playgrounds, beach, restaurants and cinemas).

HOUSE LAYOUT

Upstairs:
Top floor: Master bedroom, large ensuite, and walk in robe, and a desk and single bed on a separate landing.
Main living floor:
Spacious open plan living room and kitchen opening onto a large deck with Bbq and city views.
Downstairs: The 3 downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with separate toilet.
This level opens onto the pool and fully paved outdoor lounge area.
Garage level: Double garage which could double as extra playroom.


There are 2 separate lounges so the adults and children can enjoy their own spaces.
The upper lounge has a TV with Netflix, and the downstairs lounge has a TV with built in DVD player.
The master bedroom has a large TV.

Kitchen with dishwasher, ample storage and quality appliances including a coffee machine.(Aldi)

Front deck with Weber BBQ and outdoor setting, allow you to enjoy the city views and north aspect.

There is a garage which can be used for storage or extra playroom if preferred, as there is additional off street parking for 2 cars.

PARKING
There is a lock up remote controlled garage (or this space can be used for inside activities) and off street parking for 2 more cars. Street parking is free.

PETS.
Are welcome only if they are house trained and kept off furniture and carpeted areas. All evidence of pets having stayed must be completely cleaned including the garden area. Bond return is dependent on this.

YERONGA AREA:

A quality quiet suburb surrounded on three sides by the Brisbane River and within 6km of Brisbane City. Public transport on the doorstep. It is a pleasant walk to the Pat Rafter Tennis Centre where the Brisbane International which attracts top world ranked players, is played in January each year. There are several large parks within a few hundred metres of the house including along the Brisbane Corso. There are Children's playgrounds and dog parks within these large parks. And a beautiful walk or cycle over the Eleanor Schonell Bridge (walking, cycling and bus bridge only) to the delightful campus of the University of Queensland. The famous Brisbane Citycats (fast catamarans) leave from here for the city. Recommended!
Cycling is very popular in this lovely suburb.

BRISBANE CITY CYCLE
Brisbane has an extensive network of bikes you can register to use and travel around Brisbane. You can return the bike to any station and if your trip is under 30 minutes there is no charge. If this activity interests you, please remember to bring your helmet.

We have some guidelines as to how bookings are considered. Bookings for less than 28 nights will be considered close to your arrival time, or if your dates adjoin another booking. We can be flexible, it is always worth asking.

Please be aware that I have a strict 'no party' and no noise after 11pm rule. Your booking implies your acceptance of this condition. I respect my neighbours and I expect that my guests will also do so. As well as this written notice, I will notify you directly prior to finalizing your stay that should my neighbours have legitimate complaints about excess noise or worries about their own security, your bond will be forfeited. I know that 99% of my guests will not have to worry but I do want to make everyone aware of my strict conditions regarding noise.

Home Away From Home - Simply Beautiful

Outstanding property, wonderful trip to Brisbane made more memorable with the stay in this beautiful house. Excellent out door dinning area and a relaxing secluded pool area. Fabulous hostess Julie, who made sure we were looked after from the day we arrived and thought of our ever need. We will definitely be back again!!

Just what w needed

Julie offers a spacious and welcoming home, with plenty of space for the entire family. The teenagers were amply catered for with separate rooms, wifi, Netflix and Foxtel.The parents retreat was spacious and set apart from the other bedrooms and city views from the front deck provided a great place for entertaining guests. Julie made sure we felt welcome with a welcome pack of starter supplies in the fridge and was contactable and responsive if we ever had a query or an issue. Happy to recommend.

Comfortable get-away for large groups within easy reach of the city.

My extended family and I enjoyed our Christmas in a house where there was space for everyone to spend time together or separately. Julie generously provided a welcome hamper, but also extra bath and pool towels, blankets, linen and pillows and other items we hadn't expected. The kitchen was well appointed, and the layout of the kitchen, eating area, lounge and front deck were perfect for get-togethers, set off nicely by city lights at night. The private pool (beautiful water temperature) and patio always offered welcome shade somewhere. The train trip to Southbank and South Brisbane was fast and hassle free. Thanks Julie and hope to return.

Home from Home

We are from the UK and in Brisbane to visit our son and his family. Rather than stay in an apartment as we have done before, we wanted a home from home, to feel part of a community, somewhere we could just relax but also have the space to entertain extended family during our stay. This home was perfect! Spacious and well equipped, in a lovely quiet suburb, with a north facing deck (very important for those hot summer nights) with fantastic views of the city, and a good sized pool, we had a brilliant time. With lots of green space around, shops and cafes close by as well as the Queensland Tennis Centre, this was an excellent location for us to experience Brisbane lifestyle rather than just feeling like 'tourists'. So sad to leave but we will be back!

Best experience ever!

My husband and I recently booked this property for the week of our wedding in Brisbane. From the moment I began speaking to the property owner Julie, I knew we had already made the best choice just looking at this house. Julie made us feel extremely welcome and upon arrival, we were surprised with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and treats congratulating us on our wedding. The house itself has actually made me want to move to Brisbane as it is just simply wonderful. There was nothing that we needed to supply ourselves on the first night arriving (even after our 7 hour drive) as everything was already there in the house. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking at staying with a group of people in Brisbane. The location is fantastic, the house is delightful and the hospitality is simply outstanding. Coming from a background of working within the travel industry, I have had the opportunity to visit many destinations and stay in various accommodations. Thus far, this has been the best place I have ever stayed - and truly is a 'home away from home'.
