Host was lovely and left some lovely some treats beautiful well equipped outdoor kitchen and nice cabin and lovely outdoor shower pets friendly are allowed in the cabin which was great. Cabin was well stocked with everything you need for cooking and serving.
Yes the host was welcoming and the amenities were great and we could not fault it in anyway.Little surprises were left in the fridge for us which we appreciated. It was so good to find somewhere where our dog could be with us and allowed inside that meant a lot to us.We will be returning at some stage.
My partner and I stayed here for five nights and had an amazing time! The location is excellent as it’s very quiet and peaceful, yet it is only a 10-15 min drive from the heart of Airlie. The accomodation has everything you could need from a Weber, to an outdoor shower. I highly recommend this stay and will most definitely be returning.

Ross, Pete and I are happy that you and Emma had a lovely stay, look forward to you possibly coming back to stay with us.
Such a welcoming cottage, there was nothing we wanted, All kitchen appliances, tea, coffee.Shampoo conditioner although I did bring my own. Big comfy bed. Comfortable chairs. A place just to relax and listen to nature. The best was the outdoor rainwater shower all very private. I found this place so relaxing, I would recommend to anyone. The hosts were there if you needed them but not if you didn’t Plus the lovely treats were something we didn’t expect but we loved themThanks for a rejuvenating stay
On arrival I was greeted by Rhonda. The cottage was beautifully presented and the outdoor shower was amazing. The outdoor kitchen added that camping feel, eggs, croissants, butter and jam. Perfect place to chill out and the hospitalitywas highly appreciated

Great and very peaceful and calm place.
Such an amazing experience to have outdoor kitchen and outdoors shower.
We loved it.
The little surprises and attention to details were super cute!
Thank you,
Will be back!
Located only 10 minutes from Airlie Beach, this property is a little gem. We stayed for 3 nights with our miniature Schnauzer and everything was perfect. The owners are fantastic, even provided dog water dish and dog towels. The fridge was also stocked with some goodies for us which we very much appreciated. I love the outdoor shower and also the outside seating / cooking area. Would very highly recommend this property.

Thank you Fiona, Peter and I are pleased you enjoyed your stay....we like to have our guests feel like it is a little home away from home.
A charming rainforest setting a 10-15 min drive from Airlie Beach set side and secluded from our hosts' residence. Designed for a couple, a single room with comfortable queen bed, private outdoor shower and well equipped cooking facilities. The fridge contained generous treats on arrival and our hosts were wonderful, helpful people. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay and would love to return in future.
The host went above and beyond with welcoming us on the first night. Some highlights were margaritas, fresh eggs, mangoes and lychees. The cottage had everything you need for cooking. Our large dog had no problems staying there. Nice and relaxing with a rainforest vibe. Highly recommend.

Pete and I are so happy that you enjoyed a nice relaxing stay. You are all welcome back anytime.
From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Rhonda who goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful yet sill close to all that Airlie Beach and surrounding areas have to offer. It was great that we could have our dog with us and they accept your fur babies. We hope to visit again one day. Highly recommend for people that love the rainforest and privacy. Alex and Debbie

My partner, Daisy the dog and I stayed at Curlew Cottage.
Rhonda met us on arrival, and left some lovely treats.
We loved the quiet- loads of birds and butterflies, and the lovely plants surrounding.
Cosy cottage, with a great private outdoor shower and an undercover Kitchen and Weber BBQ that gave us all we wanted.
Close to Cedar Creek Falls which is great for a swim, and then a hop skip and a jump to Supermarkets and Airlie Beach.
We really needed a rest, and the comfy King size bed and cool verandah helped to give us a lovely stay.
We will miss our daily visits from Brewster ( well, that's what we called the Rooster) and even our dog looked forward to his daily visits. Thanks for a lovely, relaxing stay
No hassles, peaceful and relaxing. Quaint little cottage in quiet location with everything we needed. The outdoor shower was fun and refreshing. Spoilt with treats on arrival. Hosts checked on us when the power went out one evening otherwise they left us in peace to do our own thing. We had a kangaroo visit most mornings and evenings, wild but came close enough for us to enjoy watching it. A very pleasant say with lovely hosts. We will be back.
We had a lovely relaxing week at Curlew Cottage with our dog. All the little extra touches in the cottage and the snacks in the fridge made it special. Kitchen is really functional, outdoor shower was wonderful even on a cool morning and the bed was so comfy. The mozzies were annoying our first day but everything was provided to deal with them, so not a problem in the end. Only downside was the lack of internet but I think they’re fixing that. It didn’t bother us as we had other options. Thanks to Rhonda and Peter for their hospitality.
We had a wonderful 3 nights at Curlew Cottage
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed & shown around the cottage by our lovely host Rhonda
Every thought has gone into making your stay comfortable. There were even some lovely welcome treats in the fridge which we thoroughly enjoyed especially the icecreams - yummy
We loved the outside shower
We had our dog with us who had a great time as plenty of room to run for a ball & explore the bush. She was allowed inside the cottage as well so she was happy
Thank you Rhonda & Pete for your hospitality & making us feel so welcome
We will certainly recommend this beautiful little gem to our friends & will definitely try & come back

About the host
Hosted by Rhonda Campbell
We came to Airlie Beach approximately 38 years ago to visit friends and fell in love with this stunning area, we purchased a surburban block and built a house but then decided living on acreage would be a more private lifestyle for us as we enjoy the local native wildlife and peacefulness of living out of town
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because we basically only have a neighbour on one side of the property with Crofton Creek on the other boundary which wraps around the back of the property with natural bush......it makes our property very quiet and private.
