THE FLAT

This is a self contained flat with a separate access. The flat has a bed room, a living area and a kitchen with dining area. There is an attached private toilet with shower and a laundry with a washing machine (with clothes line outside). The bedroom has a queen bed and a study nook .

The living area has a 3 seater + 2 seater sofa with a TV

The flat has a 4 seater dining table. The kitchen has an electric cooking range . If you are looking for a home cooked meal or too lazy to drive out, the kitchen has sufficient pots and pans to cook up a great meal. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator, a rice cooker and a slow cooker.

Gordon is one of the southern most suburbs of Canberra , which means we are close to Thredbo & Perisher.
If you are driving in from Sydney heading to the snows , stay or base yourself at our place –it is only two hours away to the snow.

Great walks with lovely views of the Brindabellas and ,great drives to Tidbinbilla, Corin forest and Pine forest.

The Sanctuary at Tidbinbilla offers fabulous nature based experiences and a great way to discover our natural world. A large wetlands ecosystem surrounded by bushland and protected by a predator-proof fence provides sanctuary for a range of native animals in a natural setting.

Gordon is located in Tuggeranong of ACT

The City or Civic as we call it is 20KM from our home

The Parliament and other places of interest like National Museum ,National Library , Art Gallery are around 18 KM

Places of Local interest
Lanyon Homestead- 13 minutes drive or a 22 minutes bike ride.
Markets - Tuggeranong Homestead Community Markets
( First Sunday of Every Month) is 3 KM

Surprisingly roomy and the location suited us. Fully tiled which is "pawfect" for our little pooches, and the heaters kept the place cosy for all of us. Heerak & Amrita were warm and engaging hosts too.

A well equipped unit! Loved the inclusion of the airfryer! Host was very helpful and communicative. The unit had everything we needed and Tilly was happy in her secure side yard for wanderings.

Large one bedroom unit with well equipped kitchen and laundry area. A lovely welcome gift of bread, eggs and butter was not expected. Tiled floor throughout perfect for pets. Secure, private side yard was much appreciated by our pooch. Our host was easily contactable and very obliging. Quiet position in suburbia with shops only a short drive away. We were so pleased to have found this place while we waited for our new unit to be completed. Thanks so much. appreciated by our pooch.

Dog friendly

Our hosts were happy to have our Shetland sheepdog stay after our dog sitting arrangements fell thru. It was perfect for both our dog and ourselves. Outdoor area was small but fine for a smaller dog and we left her inside whilst away. Plenty of walks around the area.

Welcoming while privacy respected

Very private with own entrance, a small courtyard good for a dog, and very comfortable, though not luxurious unit. I felt at home. The owners checked in to make sure all was OK and had food ready for me after a long journey so I didn’t have to shop immediately.

Perfect stay with our fur baby

Spacious separate areas and all floors tiled which was perfect for our pup. Nice area to walk with the dog. Close to main roads and access to all of the ACT Welcoming host and provided us with some basic food supplies.
