This property was awesome very modern clean and in a very quite location. On arrival owner provided items ie bread, cereal, milk etc to ensure we didn’t have to rush straight down the shops to buy food. Definitely will stay here again, best value property I’ve stay in.

We had a wonderful stay! Eileen is such an excellent host. She went over and above to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Coffee, cereal, milk and biscuits were provided at arrival. The sheets and towels were fresh, and the property was so clean. Such a nice homely touch.

Comfy and inviting

The title of the place being The Hidden Gem is truly an accurate name. Very cozy and peaceful in a quiet beautiful neighbor not too far from Adelaide was the perfect spot to find relaxation. The place was very clean with all the essentials provided for a stress free stay and the host was quick and responsive and friendly to any questions or needs. If I’m ever back in Adelaide I will definitely stay here again!

Amazing folks and area

The property was a great location in a beautiful neighborhood with nice parks around it and views. The owners were extremely kind people who were there to check in and see how my trip was going throughout my month in Australia along with giving advice on what places maybe nice to go next or telling me about places I am planning on going m; in general phenomenal hosts. The eats in the area are decent and the hosts get you setup with a decent spread of cooking stuffs to be able to cook up something you need if you feel like that. The hosts were very responsive and respectful to if I needed anything such as a lightbulb changed or anything of that sort. Overall amazing stay and amazing friendly hosts!

Eileen is an amazing host Goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome Property is very well equiped you don’t need to worry about a thing Bed is comfy and linen is pristine On arrival there is a full loaf of bread cheese jam crackers dip 2 litres of milk a large box of breakfast cereal As we were there for the week I would recommend any couple or single traveler to stay there The street is lovely and quite off street parking for one car Thank you Eileen your property is one of the best I have stayed at Annie and Doug 🦋🕊

What a delightful place to stay. We were in Adelaide to visit family in nearbyTrott Park and attend a dinner.We stayed for a week and loved the quiet location, in walking distance to local shops (can recommend the pizza shop) a short drive to Hallett Cove shops and train station. We did little cooking but the various cooking options were enough to cook everything we wanted and I enjoyed getting to play with an induction cooktop.A lamp blew in the fan/heater/light in the bathroom but Eileen was there within a few minutes to replace it.My partner lost a hearing aid and was most relieved when Eileen phoned to say it had been found, shortly after we had left but were still at Trott Park. The alternative was it had been lost in an Uber and I am still waiting for a reply from the driver.We would make the Hidden Gem our first choice if visiting Adelaide again.

Beautifully appointed, modern, superclean, fully equipped, ideal for a single or a couple. The neighbourhood is very nice and very quiet, especially at night. Eileen is attentive and ready to solve any issues that may arise. But there are no issues to solve. Everything is just as it should be. Highly recommended.

This place had everything we needed!

After a 3 hour drive I was so relieved, and happy when I walked through the door at this property. Eileen has thought of everything a guest might need and provided it. The bed is really comfy, the kitchen is decked out with what you might need to cook meals, the bathroom has great water pressure, and the private outdoor area is really cute! It's a smaller property but doesn't feel poky. It's nice and quiet too, and very clean. If you do feel like you want to head out, there is a supermarket, chemist, butcher, bakery, and bottle shop in the area as well as two pubs that have excellent bistros. I really appreciated the little additions at this property; the first aid kit in the cupboard for when we needed a bandaid, the nice clear instructions on how to operate appliances, and the soft cushions for the outdoor setting. Myself and my husband stayed here and could not be happier. I absolutely recommend this place!

The property is as pictured and described, very warm and cozy, a comfortable stay at Flagstaff Hill SA.The essentials to start the day were provided with coffee, tea, cereal, milk, bread, butter, jam and an assortment of biscuits was available and made the experience very enjoyable, as we needed to be close to Flinders Hospital (less than 10 mins) after surgery for 10 days.The Hidden Gem was very convenient - information provided for activities in the area was great – close to Marion Shopping Centre, Flagstaff Hill Hotel and if you are interested in Golf only minutes away, it was a pity we could do a lot of the tourist visits.Thank you Eileen – our hosts were wonderful to deal with, super friendly, very helpful, very efficient, response time to queries, etc within the hour or just minutes, any request/information was always welcomed, never too hard or inconvenient, but your privacy was always kept in mind. A big ‘Thank you’ for making our stay pleasant, would definitely recommend and stay again.
