Comfortable, modern home, close to Westfield Marion

Janet's house was extremely comfortable, with lovely modern amenities. The bed was particularly great! The location suited us well and was very close to the Westfield shopping centre, Coles, and the local pub. The only thing I would note is that while it is pet friendly, there isn't really a space for dogs to go to the toilet. There are several parks within walking distance though, so it wasn't really an issue.

Thank you for your great review and you were the perfect guests! We have decided to phase out allowing pets at this house and instead encourage guests to book one of our other 'Ella Houses' which are more suited for a pet as they have front and back lawns.

December 2019 stay

Thank you Janet and Marcus for a great stay! My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks leading up to Christmas. There was a cute little Christmas tree in the lounge room which gave a little Christmas feel. We stayed for a holiday and part of it I had scheduled surgery. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, new in style, en-suite, washer/dryer, fridge/dishwasher ducted air conditioning, every thing a standard house has. BBQ and outdoor seating area under shelter. My most favourite part was the lounge for the electric recliners!! In my last week there I needed the recliners as a result of my surgery recovery, there is a USB point on the side of the lounges making it easy to charge my phone when chilling in the chair and they were very comfortable :0) We bought a chrome pod to be able to watch Netflix from our phone to the tv. The Marion Mall isn’t far, about 5-10min drive, I didn’t want to walk especially in the heat but it’s doable, maybe half hour walk, the mall has everything from MYER to Woolworths , movie theatre and your general everyday Westfield type shops. We caught the train in to the city to watch the Christmas Carols which Janet helped by giving instructions how to catch the train, only a walk down the road to the train stop. Was a great evening. The house is about 20min drive into the city if your going to Rundell Mall and about the same to Brighton and Glenelg. The house and location has everything you need. Would certainly stay at this hour again.

Home away from home

We loved our time at Ella House 2. The house was perfect for our needs and the kitchen had everything that we needed to cook all types of meals. Our little dog loved the house and the outdoor areas. The house is located to close to the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre which was perfect for us during the State Swimming Championships. Beds were comfy and the recliners were a big hit with the family. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us.
