Ranch House. Sleeps 10+. Large Wrap Around Deck with Mountain Views
My family has owned the Ranch property since the 1940s. Until just a few years ago it is was a working cattle ranch. We continue a tradition of family gathering and reunions at the property. We'd like to others to share our experience, not only a piece of our family history, but a sense of the true life in rural Eastern Oregon. To assure you have a wonderful stay on our Ranch and a great adventure...we have On-Site Managers available and ready to help if you need them...they're family too.
Chelsa purchased this Farmhouse in 1940
Why Chelsa chose Huntington
Unplug, 'get off the grid' but still have Wi-Fi. Experience a peacefulness you may have forgotten exists in a bustling and crowded world we now live. Star-Gaze, no city lights, hike, fish or do nothing at all..do you remember how many stars are in the sky? Coyotes howl at 4am, birds sing every morning at 7am and deer graze along the fields and mountain sides at dusk.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
Solitude, peace and quiet. Take a step back in time and experience what life was like before the world got so loud and busy.

My 3rd stay will come back every year. We catfish and this place could not be better. Beautiful country. The host were incredible. Cannot recommend it enough. Thanks John
Nice roomy home in a beiatiful and peaceful valley.
Charming rustic ranch with amazing views
This home is just what you see in the pictures. It’s nice and spacious inside. Perfect for our four adults and four kids that came on the trip. Outside is really the best part of this property. We hiked every day and just took in the peaceful nature surrounding us. Loved it!
Very nice !
This was my second stay at the ranch. I will be a regular customer. We love to enjoy what Brownlee reservoir has to offer for fishing and the ranch couldn't be in a better location. 5 minutes to Huntington or 5 minutes to the water . Who could ask for more? But at the same time when your there you feel you are away from everything. It says its rustic and it is but that is part of a unique experience. Very spacious. Big decks. I just cant say enough good things about it.......... Thanks for the stay ! I will be back soon. John
The Ranch House is conveniently located 5 miles east of Interstate 84, approximately 70 miles west of Boise, Idaho and 45 miles east of Baker City, Oregon. The ranch property rests along the Burnt River near the confluence of the Snake River. Two boat launches a few miles away. In addition, Anthony Lakes Ski Resort is about 70 miles away. Annual Catfish Derby happens every Memorial Day weekend. And if you are into hunting and pulled a tag in the Lookout Mountain region, this is a great place to stay. Pan for Gold in the Burnt River.
