GUEST SERVICES:
You'll arrange booking via Airbnb app with Tobe & Brenda (owners), though they had to move down to San Diego (our loss = your gain!). Very reasonable and attentive Property Manager couple (Anthony & Kristin) live next door. Contact info can't be shared until you've booked.
___________________________
VIBE:
Just let us know your preferences. Anthony & Kristin have lived in San Pedro for generations and can quickly orient you to the place and then stay out of your hair, or let you know all about this historic community, or anything in between.
You'll live in the urban oasis of the coastal "Point Fermin" area of San Pedro, perhaps LA's last true "village" town, nestled atop towering ocean side cliffs at Palos Verdes Peninsula's southernmost tip. It's always about 10 degrees cooler here from ocean breezes. Many LA harbor longshoreman families have lived here for generations, giving this town it's groovy contrast between the blue-collar union history, the neighboring opulence of Rancho Palos Verdes, and the diversity of Long Beach.
You've probably seen scenes from the neighborhood in various movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, Fast & Furious, Catch Me If You Can, Batman and Robin, The Usual Suspects, etc, etc).
Google "san pedro tourism" for a great start.
