We enjoyed our stay in Franklin. The house is located a few miles from Franklin in a lovely golf course neighborhood. Especially loved the screened in porch. Thank you.

Could be very nice

The home has a lot of potential. The rooms are nice, especially the master bedroom (though there is very strange track lighting in one room). The movie room is great and our kids loved it. Overall, though, the home seems to have just enough TLC to keep it in order. There are broken chairs on the porch and not quite enough of them. There is not quite enough lighting in the main family room. The kitchen is missing some basics like a pizza cutter and a functional can opener. With a little extra effort, this place would be really great.

Not what is described

Nothing is what was described. Backbyard is small and you have to watch for golf balls all day. Wasn't safe for kids to be outside. They even hit the house and my truck. Very dirty, beds were like sleeping on Springs. Upstairs was hot all day

Great place for a family stay

This is an older home, not fancy but clean, comfortable and functional and worked great for a family of 6 and 2 grandparents with some visitors. The place had plenty of sleeping room. The TV / futon area has a low ceiling, not a full story over the garage but still accessible to adults. It was great being on the golf course, nice to walk along the cart path with the kids. Wonderful, large outdoor porch. Used the grill, was a bit dirty but functional and I hope we left it cleaner than we found it. Owners / manager were very flexible with check-in and check-out. Overall very happy.

Nice neighborhood, unclean house

This is a great location, nice house, but dirty property. The cleaning company left hair from someone shaving in the shower, hair in the sink, trash under the futons, dirty dishes, couches were dirty, and dryer did not dry. Will not be staying here again. Do not recommend.

Large, comfortable home in great location - good family retreat

The house was perfect for a family gathering. We had 9 adults staying here and two local family members visiting in evenings. Quiet cul-de-sac in a charming small town but also close to Nashville. Appreciated the Christmas tree, plenty of high-quality towels, lots of space and furnishings for dining, games, movie watching. Beds were comfortable, plenty of bedding - even more beds than we needed, including a folding one in a closet. Heat worked well. As noted by the previous reviewer, the owner should get a new cleaning team. We had to clean most of the surfaces in the kitchen: fridge, cabinet doors, drawers and utensil holder; counters needed to be washed; pots had to be scrubbed to get off burned-on food. Fridge had food crumbs on shelves and it looked like someone spilled a soda that had collected in the bottom behind the freezer drawer. Kitchen trash can was nasty, as if someone didn't use a bag. The fireplace was full of ashes and some were scattered on the hearth. Glass doors and windows at rear of house needed cleaning. If you're planning to cook for a family, bring pots and pans - enough dishes but need a couple more pots or saucepans and a non-stick skillet. Floor in the bathroom at the top of the stairs was dirty, almost grimy. The DVD player in the living room kept skipping so we used the one from the movie room loft (and returned it). A trash can in the garage had two bags of old garbage in it and stank when opened. The washing machine (which we did not use) had several cloth napkins in it from a previous washing. The dryer had a sheet and a blanket in it. The oven does not appear to be heating to the temperature on display and a couple of gas burners on the stove top needed to be lit with a lighter. We attempted to contact the cleaning service (which also serves as the guest point of contact) by phone and by e-mail with a couple of questions the day before we arrived (Dec 23rd). We are still waiting for a reply. The cleaning issues did not greatly affect our enjoyment of the house once we did what the cleaning team should have done. We had a great time here and loved the house. The cleaning team looked like they did a rush job (surprising as the house was not occupied for days before we arrived) and let the owner down.

BEST family vacay!

This place was PERFECT for my family. It literally has everything you need. The owner, Chris, was super accommodating and friendly. I will say, it’s not super fancy.. but that was perfect for us due to the 5 children we had running around! The movie room was a huge hit with the kiddos, and so was the bridge in the yard. We had a pretty large group, and we were very comfortable in this house. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Especially for the price!!! We plan to return for sure!

Party house

I would ask the owner to hire a new cleaning . service. It was filthy. Someone used dirty rags to clean things. We spent 1 hour in bathrooms alone to sanitize and clean walls. Nasty. Cleaned off counter and had dirt and hair on towel. Not owners fault but he needs to address this. Also hot water heater leaking in garage. Needs better coffee mugs and dishes, glasses etc. not trying to be mean just honest. Maybe a cat getting in, it had that iron smell. Love franklin but house was disappointing.

Bachelor party weekend

Every thing was perfect for the most part. The property was impressive, and I love everything about it, from the aesthetics to the decor to the amenities. The only issue we had was that the fridge’s water line was broken, and the fridge would start beeping every 2 minutes while plugged in because the door sensors weren’t working right. Outside of that small flaw, everything was amazing.

Excellent place to stay!

Our family of 8 adults loved this great home. With 4 bedrooms we all had plenty of space. The kitchen was fully equipped and the back porch was nice for morning coffee. The location was about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville and we went to enjoy the sights and sounds of Broadway severs times. This hime is also close to a grocery store. We loved eating dinner at the Loveless Cafe which is only a couple of miles away. We would definitely recommend this home if you want to be near Nashville but not right in the middle of town.
