Ubicado en la comunidad de golf Myrick Estates, el altamente deseable cuadrante del sudeste del lago Gastón. 4 dormitorios, 2 baños en un lote suavemente inclinado con un plano de planta abierto, una sala de juegos, porche, terraza y una casa de botes con 6 pies de profundidad de agua para amarrar su bote. Un área segura para que los niños jueguen en el patio, anden en bicicleta o salgan a caminar por el vecindario. Un entorno tranquilo con árboles en abundancia. Mucho sol radiante en el muelle de la casa de botes y permitiendo horas de diversión al sol fuera del muelle o deportes acuáticos sin fin jugados en el agua ... tenemos 1 kayak y 2 tablas de paddle para nuestros inquilinos. Hay una chimenea exterior debajo de un porche cubierto y un horno de pizza al aire libre. La sala de juegos tiene una mesa de billar de 9 pies, una de 22 pies. Mesa de tejo y una mesa de juego de cartas / tablero. La rampa pública para botes está a aproximadamente 1. 5 millas de distancia. Roanoke Rapids y la ciudad de Littleton están cerca de tiendas, comida y gas.

The hosts are quick to respond and keep the house in perfect working order. We have stayed at this property for 3 years in a row! The swimming area is perfect for kids and adults. The dock is deep enough for a surf boat. The shuffle board table and pool table are an added bonus! We will be back again!

The house is in a good location. Very clean inside. We were disappointed with the boat slip. In the picture it shows that it is a good size, but the owners boat was in the slip. We had to dock on the side with a very narrow dock and the water is very shallow. We felt like the porch where the grill is in bad shape. Very pleased with the game room.

Thank you for the feedback. The house is in a great location and we appreciate you mentioning that! Thank you for noticing the cleanliness, we strive for that. We are sorry that you thought the outside dock was too narrow. We find that dock for loading and unloading super easy, especially when you are going in and out on the water all day. We had never gotten a complaint about the dock water being too shallow. We as adults jump off the dock into the water all the time and it’s so much fun! I agree with you that the porch with the grill on it could use a makeover eventually, but again this is the first time hearing that the porch was in “bad” shape. Maybe, I can now get my bigger deck with Trex decking. We will take everything that you mentioned into consideration. Also, we have 2 boat slips and they are perfect for fishing w/sun shelter and possibly keeping your boat and Jetski under shelter. Most of the time our boat is on its trailer. We have no problem moving it out of the way. We truly apologize for that. Just an fyi…the 3rd bathroom’s plumbing is already done and my husband is taking some time off from work to get it done.

Beautiful place!!

We absolutely loved staying here! Location is perfect and the house is gorgeous! Perfect for large groups with plenty of space. The adults and teens enjoyed the game room and the easy access to dock and the water. The owners were extremely helpful and nice with great communication! I highly recommend this as the place to stay for an awesome and relaxing vacation!

Fantastic location & house

We loved the lake house, it was fully stocked, beautifully decorated, comfortable and fun! It included a canoe, kayak & SUPs, a pool table & shuffle board plus an outdoor fireplace & pizza oven. Our family had an awesome time and plan on coming back next year. The host were very accommodating and responded immediately with any questions. The views from the house were beautiful too!

Awesome lake getaway!

Great vacation rental! The owners are easy to work with and have done a fantastic job renovating their home! We were able to dock a 23’ pontoon boat at their dock with no problems! Their game room is perfect for any cold or rainy days when you can’t go out on the lake. We will definitely return!

This was our family’s second year here. Multiple generations and plenty for all to enjoy. Kitchen is stocked even more and we had everything we needed. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were again… by far the most comfy we have had in a vacation rental. My sis in law even took a picture of the brand in her room. I even slept on a bottom bunk one night because my daughter fell asleep in my spot. Even the bunk was comfortable! The game room is great. The outside seating area was enjoyed most nights. All of the water toys were used each day. We rented a boat for a couple of days and easily docked it on the side of the boathouse. We absolutely love this property. Thank you Randy and Nichol!

Another Great Stay

This was our second time staying at Randy and Nichol’s house. We had a wonderful time. The house is very well furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed. We love the location, a private cove so close to the main lake. We rented a boat and enjoyed tubing and skiing. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and canoe provided with the house as well as a variety of life vests. We enjoyed pool and shuffleboard. The family is already talking about going again next summer!

Quiet Oasis

The property was clean and well appointed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The open concept living was wonderful for our group hanging out together, cooking and chatting. Although we were a small group, the bunk rooms provided many sleeping options. The backyard and the dock were great secondary spaces for fishing and paddle boarding. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room too - had some epic pool games and shuffleboard!

Our favorite spot on the lake!

This is our 3rd year staying at the American Crow lake house and we love it! The house is set up perfectly for our family with comfy beds and linens and a big kids room with full size bunk beds. The view of the lake from the well equipped kitchen is my favorite. We spend most of our time down at the dock, swimming, kayaking, and fishing. We really enjoy this little spot and look forward to returning every summer!

Beautiful home, great location

Great location on the lake, beautifully decorated home with great amenities & thoughtful touches. We spent our days out on the lake, evenings in the game room, cooking together in the spacious kitchen or grilling or making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. Loved sitting on the dock or the screened in porch. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, plenty of room for our cars, trailers & boats. Owners were great, too.

Peaceful Getaway

We had an amazing week with family and friends at the American Crow! The owners were fantastic about communicating and fulfilling any requests (even provided a griddle when asked if they had one!). The location to restaurants grocery stores, and great fishing spots was perfect! The home is even better than the pictures, very cozy with a great dock to hang out on and fish. The fireplace and pizza oven were loved by everyone! Thank you for a fantastic week!

Great family getaway

We had a great time with our extended family of 9 in total. This house had something for everyone from the fun games in the basement area, to the well-appointed kitchen, to the comfortable bedrooms, to the great dock and kayaks. We love the location, and the neighbors were incredibly nice and welcoming. Our only negative were the ants that visited the kitchen area toward the end of the week, but the owners were very helpful and responsive and had everything we needed to get it resolved. We had a great time and hope to be back!

Loved Being On Lake Time

Our family had a wonderful time at American Crow. The house was wonderful, very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were spacious and many rooms had great views of the lake. We enjoyed shuffleboard, pool and fishing. We rented a boat so we were able to ski, tube and explore the lake. The owners responded promptly when I had questions. We loved our time at American Crow and would love to return!

Anazing week away

We had an amazing stay. House is well equipped with everything you need. Small town located 10 minutes away for quick shopping. We rented a boat two days and a jet ski for a day. Caught a few small bluegills off the deck. Lots of blue heron sightings. Amazing week in light of the pandemic.

Kimberley, I'm glad your vacation was a hit! I was just down at the lakehouse for 2 nights and we had two specific Herons hanging out at our neighbors dock...I might have to name them 😊. Great stay on the lake

We made great memories in this house on the lake. Really enjoyed the well laid out kitchen, game room and covered outdoor fireplace. Cool bonus to be able to sit under cover outside, fireside while it rained. The location on the cove is great for swimming, and the boat launch is 5 min down the road. Don't let the less than impressive front facade of the house fool you. The stuff that matters is inside and out back!

Mark, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I’m glad you and your family made memories at “American Crow”! It does sound like you guys liked the house and enjoyed yourselves. I wish we could’ve given you guys a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ five star stay, we do strive for that, especially in such a competitive vacation rental market. We appreciate the positive feedback and even the negative feedback about the front of the house aesthetics. From day one of purchasing this house we continue to work hard at making the necessary changes and repairs in bringing this home to life. The front of the house is last on our list, but we are almost there. We did just install new fiber cement shake siding to replace the old cedar shake siding that will be painted the same as the beautiful blue that’s painted in the back. I can’t wait to complete the front of our house and for everybody to see it! Thank you! 🇺🇸

Cozy and Extremely Family Friendly

Our family enjoyed a fun-filled week at the lake. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our group of 11. We rented jet skis that we parked at the convenient boat dock that has a kayak and paddle board for renters to use. The cove was quiet and the water was calm. The owners were awesome and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely rent this lake house property again.

Carmen, always pleased to hear that our guest had enjoyed themselves and that the house worked out for your family. Thank you for doing a load of towels before you left and disinfecting things. Thank you for considering our home for your vacation! We have rented for years at Lake Gaston and had always hoped to own one day. The opportunity happened 9 years ago and we have been working hard on this home ever since. We still have another master bedroom/bath and 2nd living room space downstairs in the basement to complete. But, come enjoy what we have done. You won't be disappointed!

Great Location!!! Awesome neighborhood surrounded by well-kept homes, shaded trees and nice calm water. Enjoy all day on the dock and in the water, then take a walk after dinner, bike ride, play pool, shuffleboard, roast marshmallows at the outdoor fireplace, play boardgames with the family or just rest on the sunporch looking out into the lake!

The house is surrounded by the tranquility of the trees and gives the “home away from home feel”. We have tried to think about the things we would want to have available at a vacation lake house and have tried to provide that here. It’s easy access from the house to the boat docks. The boat Ramp is within 1.5 miles of the community...launch your boat into the water and be back at the house's dock in minutes.
