"Our Happy Place" is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home located on on a Deep Water Cove only seconds to the Main Lake. Lake views galore - it's as if the house is built on the water. In fact, there's a water view from every living space and bedroom in the house. You’ll live outside or the dock, patio or screened porch,. You’ll love the inside with fresh decor, comfy sitting areas, well-stocked kitchen and fun game room. Bring your boat and floats.

You have all the benefits of a cove - quiet dock, great views, perfect water for kayaking or paddle boarding and since we’re located at the mouth of the cove it’s literally seconds to the main lake. We love to paddle in morning around Grandma’s Island or down the cove.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please empty all trash cans - Interior - including Kitchen, Bed, Bath, etc. Exterior - Dockside and Patio. Please bring all trash cans up to curb of road upon checkout.
Please stow dock items-Cover TV, Empty Fridge, Trash. Stow Blue Mat Stow Chairs - Zero Gravity chairs in Boathouse. Lounge chairs on land. Adirondack are on dock. NOTE: Cleaning fee for big stains.
Please Strip Beds, Empty Refrigerator, Start Dishwasher
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We are on a septic system. ONLY flush toilet paper, No food/grease down the sink/garbage disposal. NO parking inside circular driveway - septic field
We have had to add a $250 cleaning fee to remove significant Stains from Self-tanner/lotions. Please use provided Lake Towels to protect furniture.
Maximum weight of boat for boat lift is 4,000 pounds. Please empty ballasts before lifting boat or just use boat slip.

Great house and location!

Our family enjoyed everything about this home and the lake! From hanging out at the dock, kayak trips, corn hole and pool competitions, this property was perfect for our family vacation!

Family Getaway

A great time was had by all despite the 100 degree temperatures. Grandchildren loved the paddle boards and water mat. Being at the house was more popular than the boat rental.

Perfect lake getaway

We have stayed at the Long lake house multiple times and always have the best time! Beautiful home, well stocked kitchen, lovely dock - it was an excellent getaway. The property was clean, plenty of linens and towels to make packing easy and hosts were very responsive. One of our favorite properties on LKG. We can’t wait to be back!

Family Vacation

The home was beautiful and well equipped in a quiet cove. We rent a home every summer for a week and everyone liked this home more than any others we have rented in the past. Communication with property owner was excellent. We hope to stay here again next year! Everyone had a great time!

Enjoy the best of canal and main lake, really great location. Views from every room, close to the shoreline. Listening to the storm from the screened in porch was the best Appreciated the communication prior to booking and the thoughtful extras. Will be back!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Three adult couples all had our own space and so many options of activities. We enjoyed the beautiful dock and easy access to the water, the indoor game tables and beautiful lot for outdoor recreation. The house itself was well taken care of and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. I had a few questions and the host’s response was quick each time. All in all it was a perfect vacation!

Just What We Needed!

This last minute vacation was just what we needed! We felt right at home in this lovely property and the setting is perfect for a relaxing vacation on the water. We did not bring a boat but the kayaks and paddleboards were a big hit with us all. When our teens and young adults weren't enjoying outdoor activities, they were playing pool and ping pong. All-in-all I highly recommend this home and would be happy to return.

Problem with understanding the linens part. We brought our own and were charged for linens service No problem if we knew linens and charge was included in the total cost. Also confusion regarding the number of bathrooms Overall a great vacation spot!

We all had a great time! The dock and house are beautiful with many locations to relax and enjoy. Indoor games and outdoor water sports were a hit for all ages. Kayaking and paddle boarding to Grandmas island was so much fun. Thank you!
