Fully furnished and equipped spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath, 2 story small peak ocean view beach home, 20 steps to the sandy beach, sleeping for 8. Queen Bedroom and Private bathroom downstairs, and 2 Queen bedroom and newly renovated bathroom upstairs. Granite counters in the kitchen, wood flooring throughout, deck and balcony on the second floor, personal back patio for downstairs bedroom, security enabled garage for 1 car (laundry in the garage), also public parking- 2 spots in front of building if you get lucky. High Speed Internet, Digital Cable and Flatscreen tv's in living room (55"), Upstairs Bedroom (50") and Downstairs Bedroom (40"), Gas BBQ on Balcony, Beach toys for the kids too.

Security Enabled garage for 1 car. 83"H x 104"W x 20'D. Public Parking Space in Front of Building as well as parking lot at Santa Clara Place 1 block over on the bayside and on the main Street Mission Blvd.

Boardwalk for strolling, biking, blading and people watching, steps to shops, market, restaurants, beach rentals, all the mission beach community has to offer. Walk to health club and indoor pool, tennis, children's play area and boat rentals. 5 minutes to Sea World, 10 minutes to downtown, Petco Park, Gaslamp, Little Italy and Qualcom.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR FRIEND GROUPS:

For friend groups we require everyone in the group to be over the age of 30 and could not agree to more than 6 people total (incl. visitors).

Note: All guests will need to agree and sign the terms stated in Rules below when they make reservation. A Confirmation Contract and Reservation Request Form will be emailed and must be completed and returned. Also we require guest(s) to send copies to Identification prior to checking in to receive a lockbox code.

Great Location

The property location can't be beat. Loved being able to see the beach from the house. The neighborhood is really quiet. The house itself is older but nice. My family had a great time there.

Would definitely stay here again. Sarina and Luke were great. Cozy 2 bedroom, had everything we needed and steps to the beach. We were 7 grownups with plenty of room.

Great location

Dated house for sure, upstairs gets extremely hot and takes a while to cool down, no AC, Mattresses need to be replaced on all beds. Appliances are fine and the location is very convenient to makes trips to the beach.

Great Beach Home!

This home had everything we needed. The location was amazing, just steps from the ocean. There was plenty of beach towels provided and having the garage was great. It fit our SUV easily and we were able to store boogey boards, surfboards, and chairs there when we weren’t using them. The bedrooms were perfect and the balcony great as well. The only thing needing attention was the dishware wasn’t clean when we arrived but we mostly used paper plates so no big deal. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Our stay here was great. The location is perfect. You’re only a few steps from the beach and in a great central spot from everything. The house itself is dated but does the job and is shown well in the pictures! The patio was nice to sit out there and you can hear the ocean waves crashing from the patio or even in the kitchen with the windows open. My only complaint is that the front door was difficult to lock at times. I think the door knob and lock could definitely be updated. Overall good place and good location!

Thank you for your feedback. We have a dutch door which you close the bottom first and then top and lock the deadbolt. This is to enjoy the ocean view. Sorry you did not ask for assistance in locking it. Yes our home is older, however we have new bathrooms with quartz counter /double sinks, downstairs and tumbled stone upstairs, Certainly a modern upgrade. And the kitchen was done about 6 years ago with granite counter and teak custom cabinets. We have the original oak hardwood floor in the living room. and manufactured wood floors in the bedrooms. Just in May the exterior was all updated with concrete siding, a modern update. Yes, original fireplace and mantle. It is a work in progress. Glad you liked the outside deck. Hope prospective guests can look past what is still original (dated) such as the fireplace and oak living room floor.

Location was Great, Not so Much the House

This house was in a great location steps away from Mission Beach and the boardwalk. Unfortunately, the house itself left a bit to be desired. It is not well maintained and all the doors were drafty. None of the outside doors were sealed properly, so you could see light coming in from outside. The doors were all really warped too, so I didn't feel super confident that they were secured especially in the master bedroom downstairs. It was also an unseasonably cooler time in San Diego when we were there, so the house was ice cold. The downstairs heaters didn't work and the space heaters didn't help much. It was colder in the house than outside! The upstairs shower also didn't have hot water, so our whole family had to use the master. The one time we reached out to the host/manager for help when the power went out, he acted irritated that we had called. Overall, I was not impressed with this property other than its awesome location. The house needs some serious maintenance and could use a little updating as well.

Great location, Rustic ambience

Property gets a 5 for location, parking and outdoor patio. The property gets a 3 overall! The home is rustic and quaint. Built in 1948, updates are limited and stairs to second floor are tough. Not for those with disabilities. Linens and towels need a refresh. For price, it may be a good deal for location.

Great location with plenty of room.

The location was perfect, close to the beach, well equipped and roomy. We enjoyed sitting up on the deck when we weren’t at the beach. Having a garage was nice because we didn’t have to worry about parking. We will definitely be back!

One week of pure relaxation

The house was comfortable. The kitchen cabinet doors would not stay closed causing a potential head bump issue. The tv in the upstairs bedroom had Firestick. That was unexpected and very cool. The beach was a 30 second walk How great is The beach was a 30 second walk. How great is that? Several restaurants a bakery and a market within a couple hundred feet. This week was more than I expected. Serena was right there for one minor hiccup with the tv. We loved and plan on coming back.
