Home away from Home

We spent 7 weeks in this lovely property. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Hideaway

The location is great, nestled in the greenery of Kingwood. The walking trails are awesome, like walking through the forest. The apartment is spacious and clean.

Extended Stay

This is my third extended stay at the property and as usual, everything was wonderful. I appreciated all the snacks and and supplies provided. I will definitely stay there again.

Comfy Cottage

This was my third long term stay at the property and as always, my stay was great. It is clean and spacious and comes complete with everything I need. I highly recommend this property.

Very clean and conscientious

Enjoyed our stay! Only improvement recommended is to consider upgrading bed and bed pillows. Bed felt fine initially but after sleeping it was apparent it doesn’t support very well.

Camille, Thanks so much for your review and honest opinion regarding my bed and pillows. It's a fairly new bed, about 3.5 years old and there were extra new pillows in the chest in the bedroom in case you needed them. I indicated that in the house rules online and on the copy in the apartment. I've gotten just the opposite review from other guests regarding the bed. So I'm disappointed to hear you didn't sleep comfortably during your stay. I will do some research and try to make this right as I don't want my guests spending their money and not getting a good night's sleep. I'm sorry for your discomfort and will be in touch with you to offer you some type of compensation. Great 3 weeks stay

We stayed almost 3 weeks in this great ground floor garage apartment. It was extremely clean, comfortable and convenient. We met Joyce and her son when we arrived and saw them a few times during our stay, they were always friendly and pleasant. The unit was wonderful! Comfortable bed, spacious living area. Plenty of room for food storage and prep. We would have enjoyed their lovely backyard but it was hot and humid so we chose to stay in a view it out the windows. Parking is no problem. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to this area. Great walking trails too!

Peaceful Transition Space

The use for us was a temporary living space between the sale of our home and move to our next home. The property is located in the area we moved to so it was nice to get used to the area while here. The quietness of Kingwood is clearly evident in this space. It was a very nice temporary home for us. I’m thankful the owner chose to offer it on VRBO. Short or long stay it is comfy.

Best of the best

this is a marvelous experience, in a beautiful part of the town is a great place to stay. the check in was just for me using numbers I was familiar with, a great touch! the room was stocked with fresh fruit, coffee, and all of the condiments I could possibly need, snacks, pots and pans, I cannot think of anything I needed that was not provided. Thank you Joyce for a great time. Only thing I would mention is the amount of decorative pillows on the bed, they are beautiful, but where do they go when I go to bed?

Lovely Hideaway

Our stay was wonderful. Thank you Joyce! The apartment is spacious and inviting. It’s a little out away from the busy Houston area, but the area is gorgeous to drive through. Quiet neighborhood with lots of walking paths. We were able to relax in peace. It was like being at home away from home.
