Welcome to the beach house at 241 Charleston Rd. in beautiful Ocean Pines, Maryland! Situated at the point of a natural peninsula and nestled in marshland, 241 Charleston is in complete seclusion overlooking the spectacular Ocean City skyline. Jet Ski to Seacrets, kayak, crab, fish, or simply sit and relax on our 150 foot pier equipped with a floating jet ski dock. Bike along miles of neighborhood paths. Access to Ocean Pines' five swimming pools (daily fee), golf course, tennis courts (har-tru and hard), playgrounds, and yacht club. Free parking beach pass to Ocean Pines Beach Club. Only a ten minute drive to Ocean City beaches and Assateague Island. Minutes from restaurants and shopping. Whatever it is you choose to do, we are confident that this home will provide your family with a vacation to cherish and remember for years to come!
Weekly rentals during summer Saturday through Saturday and 2 night minimum off season. Please check with owner for shorter stays during summer

Homeaway will collect 6% Maryland State taxes and owner will be required to collect 5% Worcester County sales tax from renter

Sunrise over the bay is unmatched

Another great stay at this property. Owners are always clear and timely in communications. The stay is always pleasant, easy, and relaxing. There are some protective flies that buzz the driveway, so if you're going for a jog in the AM run fast :). Or just roll out of bed and enjoy the sunrise with your beverage of choice.

An oasis of seclusion

Not much needs to be said after seeing the view from the deck and dock. Peaceful and secluded, which is hard to find in the OCMD area, especially during holiday weeks. Perfectly located to surrounding attractions, while providing ample space to retreat to when peace and quiet is desired.

Can’t say enough great things about this house. This is our second time staying there and it just keeps getting better and better. The owners are just amazing, making the check inn and check out process so easy and convenient. House is so peaceful and the dock is everything. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Secluded Stay in Ocean Pines

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults over 3 nights. The location was ideal with the private dock giving access to the water. We were able to get 8 cars in the driveway and sleep everyone fairly comfortably (1 on the couch + 2 shared a king, but everyone else had their own bed). The owners made sure that the house had everything we needed and our stay went without any issues!

This is a comfortable property with plenty of room and separation from the neighbors. A wonderful back deck to sit and enjoy the waterfront and watch the wildlife. Great communication from the owner. Our second stay and most certainly not our last.

Quiet Retreat

We were in town for a family reunion and needed a home near the events. This home was perfect for us. It was a great size so everyone had room to spread out. The view was beautiful and the setting peaceful and tucked away. Dawn was such a great host. She was so responsive and helpful and could not be friendlier. We hope to stay here again next year!

The perfect family retreat

As one reviewer posted previously, the pictures and description don't do this place justice. The views are spectacular, the location is secluded, and the convenience to everything the OCMD experience offers is fantastic. The only thing I can knock is due to the location the evenings can be a bit buggy so bring your bug spray/bug defense systems if you want to enjoy the late night outdoor vibe.

What a Great Place

Got this place for a family vacation, 8 of us. Could not have found a better place in the greatest setting. Almost like being on your own island in the middle of Sea Pines. It was quiet!!! Beautiful sunrises. Sitting out on the dock was wonderful. Crabbing and fishing were fun. The house was perfect. Roomy for everyone. And close to Ocean City if you want ti mingle with the crowds. I would highly recommend for a family vacation.

The perfect house in Ocean Pines

After renting houses five times in Ocean Pines I finally found the best one and the only one I would book again! We spent 2 weeks at this lovely house. It was 1 quiet week for 3 adults and then a loud, busy week with kids and grandchildren with plenty of room for everyone. The layout allows for large group gatherings as well as private time. Our time on the dock every morning and evening was so awesome as we watched the sunrise and sunset as well as a view of the Ocean City skyline. There are 2 areas on the deck to relax in the shade as the sun moves. Using the 2 large crab cages from the garage my grandsons had a blast. We even had some “keepers” that we ate one night. We did not catch any fish. We saw deer come up to the house, bald eagles, and so much sea life. As others have mentioned the pictures do not do it justice. The house was very clean. One towel per person is provided but no washcloths. Soap at every sink is a nice plus along with plenty of dish and dishwasher soap. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are spices and a few paper products. The master bedroom is lovely with a high ceiling and a lot of windows. FYI: if you need total darkness to sleep bring a mask. WiFi works very well. Communication with Dawn, the owner, was excellent. She responded very quickly to every inquiry. Thanks for everything, Dawn. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing views and location

This is our second time renting this house - the location and views and waterfront setting are amazing! The house is very comfortable (even with the unprecedented 5 degree weather during the “bomb cyclone”) and has most everything you need. Bring your own spices and condiments if you need more than the basics, otherwise the kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. Perfect spot to hang out and relax, with easy access to beaches, the town of Berlin, and many nature and water activities.

We had a wonderful family gathering in this beautiful waterfront home! It was well equipped with everything you need and the views from the inside and the outside were stunning. Dawn was a terrific host and so easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to come back!

Ocean Pines

Wow, what a great place, perfect location, views and the right amount of seclusion from the neighboring properties. The house was very well appointed and laid out, a number of both inside and outside spots to sit and relax by yourself or with others. The view from the back of the house was perfect. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely go back here for future visits if available.

A Get-Away Retreat

This was our 4th consecutive summer stay at this property. The description and photos of the home are accurate. The location of the home allows one to access OC and Assateague in about a 20 minute drive. The house sits on a large secluded water front property that provides spectacular views. The home is large and has a great layout. We have had small issues arise during out stays, but Dawn has been very quick and responsive to rectify the small problems. We have enjoyed multiple summers at the house with no regrets. Denise

Unexpected experience

The house it self was wonderful. I feel like the picture of the house is off. The house itself is way better then the picture. Which give me a big surprise when I enter. It was bigger then I thought and was more beautiful then the picture itself. I enjoy every moment in that house that I didn’t want to leave. The view was beautiful. Like the other reviews say (million dollar view). It was peaceful and quiet. The last day I was there I was thinking about booking it again for next year. It was worth it being there. Thank you so much for accommodating us. Each and everyone of us love it there
