Incredible Bayfront Home with Amazing Sunsets! A warm home with lots of space

A very warm home for three couples or a family of 6 or less. Three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. Nice open floor plan from kitchen to eating area to TV family room. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking. Grill on deck. Three TVs: family room, master bedroom and upstairs loft. Lovely UNADVERTISED space includes a loft area to chill and watch movies or read a book. The added upstairs area must be self cleaned as the cleaner will not clean the upstairs. The beds are not for sleeping due to the Worcester County laws of not having the bedrooms divided by a wall.
Beautiful screened in porch along with an open deck that looks out on the water with beautiful sunsets. Outside deck is nice and large and is perfect for dining.
Bicycles and Kayaks are available along with helmets and life vests. Please rinse off the kayaks if used. It's a little tricky get in and out of them from the lagoon.
Lots of restaurants within the neighborhood including the Yacht Club, Southgate Grill, Southside deli, The Public House etc. Ocean Downs Casino is nearby on the bayside if you want to venture out for a fun night. Of course, many wonderful restaurants in Ocean City and Berlin.
Ocean Pines Association offers day or weekly passes for the Ocean Club and pool.

VERY IMPORTANT: BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS, BATH, AND BEACH TOWELS.

My family and I had our 2nd stay at this home. Both times we enjoyed everything about it. We used the kayaks and bikes. Love the deck and sun porch for hanging out! Big thank you to our host!

Quick oc getaway

Great location, very quiet cul de sac with plenty of room for a family of 6 . Very functional and clean. The screened in porch is a great place to relax as well.

Enjoyed our stay at Walt's Place. Plenty of room to spread out, when you just need some down time. Deck was great to sit and watch boaters and kayakers go by. We did try to use the kayaks, but had a problem with the last person getting in. No fault of Heathers, just an FYI to be careful as she mentions in her ad. We had some minor issues, Heather was always available immediately and resolved the issues instantly. About 20-25 mins to OC beach by car. The parking pass provided was a huge benefit. Right next to the beach with a small bar/restaurant, bathrooms for use and showers. We had a nice stay.

Relaxing space

We had a very relaxing stay at Walt’s. Plenty of space for family-great for hanging out together or finding individual space when desired The location was very convenient for our visit with our family in ocean pines as well as for access to OC and Berlin. Very relaxing mornings and evenings sitting on deck with overlooking the canal.

Amazing home and location!

We highly recommend this house! Everything about it fit our needs. It is well stocked and furnished nicely. We spent most of our time on the deck or in the enclosed sun room. Great scenery! The kayaks were a huge hit too! We will be returning again!

Great Ocean Pines Getaway!

We had a great time at Heather’s place. The house has a lived-in feel, with some quirks here and there. We loved it! Heather responded to all of our messages within minutes, which was great. The parking pass for the Ocean Pines Beach Club is HUGE amenity! We were able to drive 20 minutes and have a guaranteed parking spot on the beach, with private bathrooms and a beachfront bar. There was plenty of room for the six of us to spread out in the house. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the deck and the screened porch. The kitchen was also well stocked with pots/pans/appliances and spices for cooking. We would certainly stay here again!

Very nice house in nice community on the water!

We were happy with our stay at Walt’s place! The best part was the beautiful back deck area including nice, sturdy outdoor furniture for lounging, sunning or having dinner, overlooking the bay. BBQ grill looks nice but we didn’t use. Great covered back porch. Keep in mind it’s not a newer house, 1970’s, but it’s still nice. Newer washer & dryer. It was clean & the beds were comfortable. Nice master bedroom. Spacious kitchen/dining area & everything you might need for meal prepping. Included bikes & kayaks which is a fun bonus. Beach was a 20 minute drive. We experienced a couple discrepancies between what was advertised on vrbo and actuality, which did present some confusion, but Heather was responsive and took care of any problems or questions we had promptly. We understand that this is a new listing and Heather seemed open for feedback for improvements.

This beautifully updated home was my father's home from 2000 till 2012. We have had so many wonderful memories over the years. We would frequent the best restaurants and bars via boat and enjoy the events that the town brings every year.
Being a full time musician, the home made it possible to gig at the beach! What a treat all these years. Now we want to share this lovely home and make it your destination for a vacation with family and/or friends. Our personal friends have rented it over the years. Now it's time to share it with you. Our goal is to build a renter's dream house for use year after year.

We have always enjoyed the amenities that Ocean Pines offers. The Yacht Club, the waterfront, the pools, the beach club on 49th street. The golf course! And these amenities continue to improve every year.

It's a very warm and cozy home. It's clean and we take a lot of pride in keeping Walt's memories alive. The home is on a very quiet cut-de-sac with lovely neighbors.
