Great place in Lewisham

This was my third stay at this property in 4 weeks and each time was great, it was quiet, comfortable, very clean and central to all the areas I had to visit, both my wife and I enjoyed staying at this property and when we return to Sydney would enjoy booking accommodation at this property.

30 deg night, upper floor, no air-con, made it impossible to sleep. Wi-Fi advertised, router on table, but on enquiry for password, told not available. No globe in bedside lamp. Location was convenient, for this trip, but we'll revert to staying in city hotels / serviced apartments after this experience.

Hi Peter, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the lack of air conditioning on a warm night made it difficult to sleep, particularly on the upper floor. Comfort is incredibly important, and we understand how disappointing this would have been. We’re also concerned to read about the Wi-Fi access issue and the missing globe in the bedside lamp. These are basic amenities that should have been available and clearly communicated. This has been raised for review to ensure accurate listing information and that essential items are in place prior to arrival. Hottest day in early December

In the studio's description there is no obvious mention of an AC system or the lack of it. The supplied Dyson cool / heat fan (filters needed cleaning) and a second classic floor fan made the heat in the room just bare able. Top dollars for a small studio on the secobd floor at the rear of the building.

Communication

1. I sent a message via the Stayz app to MadeComfy Australia requesting a change in the booking - to extend for one day. I expected to hear confirmation within 48 hours (as stated in the app). Did not hear back within this timeframe. 2. On arrival and settling into the room on Sunday 14th, I had problems logging into the WiFi - following the directions provided - also followed the 'trouble shooting' guide with no result. Needed to wait until Monday morning to ring MadeComfy - I was directed to a message bank to say they were busy with bookings and that to email my concerns. I had no way to email as I did not have WiFi access. Fortunately - i received a phone call back - both my concerns were then easily sorted; confirmation of the extended booking and, the WiFi log in - the password was different to what was provided in my information pack.
