About this property
Waratah House Parkside
Charming beach house approximately 100 metres to the beach makes this house the ideal location for your next beach retreat. Escape the summer heat relaxing on the front deck or stroll along the magnificent beach. Fall asleep listening to the pounding surf and wake up to the sounds of birds on the verandah. Surf, fish, walk, explore, swim, or just sit and relax. This is a house for all seasons, not a luxury property, but all you will need to enjoy this amazing location.
Waratah Bay is approximately a 25 minute drive to the gate of Wilsons Promontory National Park with wonderful beaches and great walking tracks.
The house is elevated with undercover parking for one car. The small kitchen features an electric oven, microwave and fridge. There is a coffee machine (Nespresso compatible -pods NOT included - please bring your own pods ).
There is a split system air conditioner/heater in lounge area. Laundry has a small top loading washing machine and laundry basin. The bathroom has shower over a small half bath. The bath would be suitable for small children. The living room has a TV and DVD player.
Waratah Bay is in a “black spot” so mobile phone service can be limited. We find that the Telstra network works fine most of the time but at times you may there no service. Satellite TV provides a large range of channels throughout Australia, however occasionally this can also be affected by service and weather. There is NO internet service attached to the property.
Please be aware that Waratah Bay does not have a supermarket. There is a small kiosk with very limited stock. The next bay - Sandy Point (approx 10 minute drive or 8kms walk along the beach) has a small supermarket or Foster has a choice of 2 supermarkets. Foster is approx 20 minute drive.
#Please note:
There are 3 bedrooms. Bed 1 - queensize bed. Bed 2 -2 x single beds. Bed 3 - 1 x double bed. Linen is NOT included. Tea towels and bath mat will be supplied. All guests must supply their sheets , pillow cases, bath and beach towels.
