Amazing views!

We loved staying in this property, the views were incredible. The backyard was great for outdoor cooking. We loved how close the home was to attractions in the area.

House in Furnas

Everything was as described. Perfect for our group of 9. Was big enough. Communication with the host (Gary) was easy. Really responsive. Thank you for everything.

Furnas stay

The location was great and the property was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. One draw back was there was no A/c or vents so air circulation was poor and the lower level bedroom were damp. Would benefit from screens on the windows to allow for the windows to be opened without bugs coming in. All in all it was nice property in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay in Sao Miguel with our family. Gary and Flavia's house is ideal. Excellent service ans communication. Very well equipped house, comfortable bedding, functional bathrooms and kitchen. The balcony with the view of the fumaroles and the mountains is a great place for breakfast in the sun or an aperitif. We have truly rejuvenated ourselves. The house is situated in a small authentic hamlet, off the tourist trails. It is very quiet. We found Furnas and the surroundings beautiful, for walks, runnings, hot baths in the hot springs. Thank you Gary and Flavia!

Hi Sophie, Thank you very much for your great and first comment of the Villa. Since the first day we contacted between each another I felt that you were a friend and then a Host. Easy comunications between us, great weather during your stay here, and then the Villa were you stayed would do the rest. Since you were the first clients that stayed there, my experience was a 5 star with you. You even took the bed sheets out of the bed and put them in the laundry box and cleaned the house. That is much more I can expect of my hosts that stay at the Villa. Hope others are like your Family! Wish to see your return to the Villa one day! Warm regards Gary & Flávia Travassos
