Cozy townhome retreat

We had a wonderful time exploring this area of NC. The townhome was very clean, well appointed and met all our needs. No mountain view but very convenient to town, restaurants and grocery store .

Almost perfect

Great place in great location. A few minor issues with the TV but was repaired promptly. Handy man did his best to fix other issues. One major problem is the shower in master bathroom leaves floor soaked no matter where shower head is directed. A hazard.

Place was just fine, amenities are great for a small family. Note it is two queen beds, no king.

Excellent location and comfort

Easy in and out from the main town area with amenities of the resort just a half mile away. Screen porch is great in summer with bugs and potential weather.

Very nice, clean & relaxing place

Great place. Only thing that could be approved of in my opinion would be a map of the grounds included in the check in package. Other than that great experience.

Cozy stay

Found randomly wanting to go hiking and see waterfalls. Along with fall foliage. The cabin was cozy had an amazing porch to drink coffee and wine on and have breakfast on. A fireplace to enjoy a fire and a great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing weekend in the woods!

Though the rain bands of Delta were passing through, it did not stop us from the amazing views along many hikes! When we weren’t out hiking, we were back at the cabin enjoying the back screened in porch! We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors throughout our stay for fall break! The condo itself was in great condition. The location is perfect. Our only hiccup was the uncomfortable beds. Did it kill us? No! But while out hiking for 7.5miles it would have been nice to come home to a comfy bed! The kitchen was stocked with your basic needs. Grocery store was just a few miles down the road. Nice local restaurants! Our favorite is Slab Town Pizza and we enjoyed On the Side attached to the adorable Cashiers market stand! Order the potato salad as your side! You won’t regret it! It was nice to have 2 bathrooms so that we didn’t have to share with our children. Our neighbors next to us smoked a lot outside (which is fine) but it made it hard for us to want to be on the back porch longer than what we were. We love the Cashiers/Lake Toxaway area and hope to return again! Thank you! **Though the check in process wasn’t difficult, it would be nice if we could obtain key via the lockbox outside the house. Another good idea would be to have a keyless entry. The checkout process was a little more of a headache as instead of the lockbox/keyless entry/leave keys on table etc....we had to drive it back to the real estate company. It was more of an inconvenience.

Peaceful

Very peaceful setting and felt like home. Beautiful area and great place to relax. Plenty of shopping, hiking and fishing opportunities. We’ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed the location and layout of the woods unit. However, we did report to management that it really needs a deep clean. The linens were fresh and it was prepared nicely for our arrival but the layers of dust on all the blinds, curtains and light fixtures was awful. There were dead bugs on the window sills and behind the night stands! The unit smells very musty and moldy. We opened the windows daily for fresh air. The beds were comfortable. There is cable but no smart tv’s so we had to watch our favorite shows on our laptop. The Internet service was excellent
