We loved Kallaloo! Great views and memories with our family. The place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy St. John. We were often the only ones on the beach out front. We hope to return again some day!!

Perfectly located and sized!

Incredible views in a high quality constructed villa. Less than 5 minute walk to an incredible beach. New kitchen, lots of outdoor eating and lounging spots. Would definitely stay again!

Great place, with very close access to some of the greatest beaches in the world, one within walking distance. All the kitchen accessories you could possibly need, and a lot of beach equipment, chairs and all, at your disposal. There's also a full battery back up system in case the power goes out, which does happen. Hosts are very responsive.

Perfect location and Villa

We loved our stay at Kallaloo. The location and view were excellent. The home was comfortable and very well kept. The beach was a short walk and never crowded. We had great snorkeling right off the beach. It also is a short drive from other North Shore beaches and Cruz Bay. You could spend hours on the patio enjoying the view and the sounds of nature. We will hopefully return in the future!

The grill is more complicated than necessary, the third bedroom is a little small, and the covered deck could use a ceil fan (buggy),but that can't keep me from giving the property and Catered To a FIVE STAR rating.

Perfect location and Quiet

Kallaloo is perfectly located across the street (an easy walk) from Gibney Beach. It is also less than a mile from Trunk Beach, and then another short hop to Cinnamon Bay. We enjoyed the pool and the quiet breezes. My only complaint was that the house smelled like someone was smoking in it. We opened the windows, but when we came back from the beach, the smell of cigarettes was the first thing we noticed. The rest of the house was very clean, and it was well-equipped with appliances, beach towels, and extra beach gear.

Few minutes walk to the beach which on this island is not easily achieved. Love the house and all the amenities. Pool overlooking hawk's Nest Beach was beautiful. Layout of the house is perfect for six people. I will definitely return back hopefully next year.

The location, being right across from Gibney/Oppeheimer beach, and a short 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay & all other North Shore beaches, made this the perfect spot. The views from the house are much better than the pictures on the website show. The house is decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well-furnished. The pool is a nice size, but very chilly. A/C worked great throughout. We would stay again here in a hearbeat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at Kalaloo. As someone who frequents St. John, it was probably the best rental we have had. Some places advertise as 'full AC' and are not that at all. Kalaloo is full AC and a bit more -- they function incredibly well, which is key in St. John. House was very clean and A+ in every single way. Only ultra picky setbacks was no ability to cover master window in the morning with the bright sun (it's vacation, so whatever), and the oven didn't work during our stay. Otherwise -- phenomenal! We will stay here again.

I feel like the following comments are small in nature but would make the experience a home run. 1) the pillows in the bedrooms are inadequate. The two pillows stacked are flat an d provide virtually no support.2)The backs of the lounge furniture on the deck are too low and provide no back support.3)The grill is virtually useless. A grill that requires a Wi-Fi connection?4)After cleaning the pool of leaves 5 or 6 times I gave up.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The entire process of booking, arriving, and getting checked in was super easy. Jhelisa was a wonderful introductory host. The location of the villa is terrific and very private, even though it’s only a 10 to 12 minute drive back to Cruise Bay for supplies/shopping/excursions. Coast, you are super close to trunk bay cinnamon, bay, and Maho Bay. The vow is beautiful and in great condition. The pool was awesome. The best part was walking down the driveway crossing the street onto Oppenheimer Beach. Air-conditioning worked great and the kitchen was very nice and well equipped. No complaints. Five out of five stars.

Fantastic home for our family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Kallaloo for a week in June and had a magnificent time. The staff was responsive and friendly from beginning to end. Someone met us at the ferry and escorted us to the home. She was incredibly helpful, but not intrusive at all. The home was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed to make our stay on the island perfect. Just a short walk to Oppenheimer Beach, which is never very crowded due to lack of public parking. We enjoyed snorkeling at Oppenheimer, swimming in our beautiful private pool, and watching the sunsets from our back porch. Just a short drive to Mongoose Junction for dinner and ice cream. We got good Verizon cell service in the home, and the Wifi had ~ 80-100 mbps download speed. Highly recommend.

Amazing Property with Spectacular Views & Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived on August 9th and left on the 15th. Although we dealt with tropical storm Ernesto which impacted a lot of landscaping we never lost power due to the solar system and Tesla batteries. We were so thankful that we picked a property that was so well equipped! We did lose wifi and tv but those actually helped us unplug even more. The house is beautifully designed and located in a perfect spot for visiting Cruz Bay and all the north shore beaches which we did daily. There were alot of extra items in the home that are not covered in the description such as the solar power, drip AND pod coffee makers along with all the necessary kitchen items needed and spices too. The bathrooms each had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers too. We had excellent communications with the Catered To representatives and were met timely by their representative at the ferry upon arrival. We highly recommend this property and Catered To for your next stay.

Beautiful property and view! Easy walk to beach or short drive to other north shore beaches or Cruz Bay. Enjoyed the pool after a day at the beach! Kitchen well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. Beach towels available. Beach chairs a little shabby but still worked for us.
